The lack of empathy, the preoccupation with power, his manipulation, his grandiose self perception ( he is the human among ants as he puts it), the way he gets easily bored, the way he feeds off excitement and chaos and even the fact that he can't remember names and faces well are all common symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Having encountered a real diagnosable narcissist....the ML is eerily familiar ( minus the blood shed ofcourse (⊙…⊙ ) ).
All three are incredibly unlikeable. I feel like that's the point though- that they are severely flawed but still maneuvering love just like all of us.
Ofcourse not Viira . Obviously the point of my comment is not to insinuate that anyone outside of the story is a rapists or to justify the actions of the character. I'm saying the point of the narrative is that they are awful people. Awful people exist. Awful people maneuver life- some are redeemed and some stay as reprehensible as can be imagined. If the author wanted to create a story with perfect people we wouldn't all be in a twist over it right now would we ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Otherwise I very much enjoy stories about messy and morally ambiguous/shitty people. If you’re into that maybe try this one if you haven’t yet, Happy of the End. It is a little heavy with some of the genres prevalent tropes about abuse but a lot of people that have done or do shitty things trying their best with each other
I like it. The uke is inherently flawed ofcourse.... but those are my favourite. I love strong, capable, confident bottoms. Rather than cowering to each other's whims, I want to see them face off The more ruthless and morally questionable he is now, at least I have a little hope that his redemption will be all the more impactful. Isn't that the point anyway... to give us this ML who does reprehensible things and somehow realizes the error of his ways after much character development?
The art is nice. The plot is fine with me. I'm in. Yaoi is full of sexual assault. It's our own duty to regulate what we choose to read. I've stopped reading content where the assault is gratuitous before, and I don't mind when it is used as a plot device to set up the story. It's important to be able to separate our hate for the actual act of assault from our feelings towards works of fiction that may have no connection to our own underlying thoughts, opinions and experiences.

But....he didn't kiss him on the mouth(⊙⊙")
Am I reading too deeply into that??
Yes you are. They'll kiss soon. Trust
