If I'll transmigrate to this novel, I'll honestly choose Ruth over Riftan. He knows how to communicate in a healthy way and assure Maxi. Men with emotional intelligence...omg what a rare find.

I think it's early for readers to judge. Dreaming Freedom is a good psychological webtoon, The MC there used to be as timid as the MC here. I'm sure that our MC will grow confident. Also the ML will probably eventually bicker with Gaon over her attention.
I love it when both are mutually pining for each other (unaware). I hate it when the FMC/ML is passive
Honestly I love my baby Maximilian but I can't say the same for Riftan. Even when I read the novel, the misunderstandings and miscommunication doesn't end because Riftan likes to dismiss Maxi in the name of protecting her...but the effect is opposite in Maxi.
Man I just read that the MC will die in the future chapters, I'll read that once that happens.

Thank goodness! I felt like she had to die! The feeling that nothing was going right for her and no one truly cared about her unconditionally is so depressing. She is miserable chasing a feeling that can’t be reciprocated.
Either she dies or marries into another kingdom which her mother has no influence over.
I hope the ML feels miserable without her and her mother ruined. May her little brother be the crown prince and her half brother be made a fool.
Gwen is one of the most interestingly written second male leads Ive ever seen. He has the personality of a golden retriever but he is sharp and goofy. The proof of that figurine means hes from Earth (probs isekaid). I would love to read this in his POV.
