Ah i see, I was more or less correct in my prior comment. Well, good on the doctor for being smart and perceptive. Pity the lady had to die, she really was quite honorable until the end. I wonder what Arisu will do, I suspect he won't die with plot armour and all but that doesn't mean I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat wondering how he will survive! Well, can't wait for the next update ~

Well, this may be an unpopular opinion apparently but I really enjoyed this manga through and through!
It didn't occur to me, during reading this, that she was 'ugly' because of her skin, I thought it was more so because of her facial features.

though upon reflection, her skin does indeed get paler, because of foundation and whatnot. But the most prominent change in terms of beauty for me, was the eyes. Her pupils become bigger, no longer sanpuku eyes (is that the correct word?) and her eyelashes are fuller.
Anyway chapter 11.5 SENT ME! I loved how unconventional this shoujo manga was! it's not every day the ML thinks the FL is cool for her fighting skills.

idk what happened there exactly. all i know is the doctor has betrayed the lady is some way and therefore my respect for him has decreased significantly. i get it's survival, so i don't dislike him excessively but i really did like the lady. i mean, you could see that she clearly trusted him.. good on the daughter though, she is very strong in my opinion. her father just died but she still willing to help MC. I cannot wait to see how the doctor managed to survive ngl.. i think it has something to do with the previous deaths, perhaps he got one of the other guy's devices and somehow used it to his benefit..?

Oh, he pulled out the "I have a family" card, fair enough. I really like the woman (nurse) honestly, she stays true to her ideals which are, in my opinion, very good morals. The doctor isn't a bad man either, I really appreciate how he was willing to accept his death/consequences for his actions. Judging by the girl's reaction, the MC mentioning he has a family will get through to her.

Holy moly, what a chapter. Damnn, so since the lady gave up her death card and the girl used it on the docter, the MC will probably be the last one standing. The doctor would most likely use his death card on the girl so afterwards, its only the MC and the lady left. The lady doesn't have any death cards left, so the MC will win. Gosh, that was smart. Hella smart. I don't blame the doctor for trying to decieve people, since it's survival and obviously a criminal is the person you would want least to survive out of everyone. I understand why the girl is angry as well though, she just lost her father and the only person she can blame right now is the doctor, she isn't in the mental state to see his point of view. Props to the lady for honoring the father's wish, but since she is the only one, it works in her disadvantage.

I feel bad for that poor family. The father... I'm glad he could come to terms with his guilt and go out, or at least I assume he will be dying, in a heroic way. I wonder whether the MC will give his death card to the guy or not, tactically its better to hold onto it but ethically? who knows? I cannot wait to see what the MC will do, as he now has to decide which he holds more important, going back to his family or his moral ideals.
