I actually began to read the novel because the story here seemed so good! I'm not far yet but honestly, I find this adaptation a lot better than the novel (I'm still early in the story). Too bad the webtoon is probably gonna take years to complete ╥﹏╥

The MC was a prosecutor in her past life, so I expected her to be persuasive, strategic, and level-headed, especially when her own survival depends on avoiding this marriage.
Instead, all of her reactions and decisions feel irrational and unrealistic, and she comes across as oddly foolish...
If her life truly depends on not marrying the duke, you’d think she would act far more careful, convincing, and calculated #－.－)
I’m only on chapter 16, but I had to check the comments to see if it was worth continuing. Honestly, finding out who the real ML is made me sick. It’s exactly the character I was hoping would get destroyed… He enjoys manipulating the MC and wants to possess her just because she resists him. It’s really disturbing and creepy. I don’t see how the author can turn this around without it feeling forced.
Is there still no way to delete a tag I’m no longer using? After the mass deletion of my lists, I cleaned up all the stories I still had and assigned tags to the ones I added back. I like how people are commenting about how Bjorn is changing so they don't dislike him as much, but unlike Erna, we already knew he was changing before!
We literally saw him buying the gifts for his wife and child, we saw him deciding to make things right, only to crumble after loosing the baby. By burning everything, he was trying to protect himself and Erna in his own way.
I'm not trying to say that he was a great guy, but he was just so human in these moments, I could feel his suffering.

Hello? Yes? Is there someone with common sense here? If Sasha is feeling insecure because she doesn't have strength, the solution isn't to risk her life for her to gain strength, but to reassure her and make her feel safe.
Also, I know some kids can be very intelligent, but that's not Sasha's case. So how come MC can't win an argument against a literal child??? There are so many things she could have said but she just left defeated?! It's like she's a child in an adult's body, so her brain isn't fully developed either.
Anyway, I am extremely annoyed at MC's lack of basic intelligence.
