Maybe I'm just too old, but I can't understand Rine being so upset over a literal child who may not even be alive (as far as she knows). It would be one thing if this was an adult ex that he had an actual relationship with (which I still think is childish but at least understandable), but some girl he had a crush on before he even met you is a ridiculous grudge to hold. He doesn't even know the girl's name for goodness sake. He's allowed to have a life before he met his wife. If it were my husband, I'd even help him find the girl just so that he could have closure. She's so unfair.
It’s shown that Tarkan closely resembles the first empress of their land, and her story was that she took various lovers but had one true love that she couldn’t ever find again. To the point she left the prince consort seat empty and simply fulfilled her duty.
Pretty sure the two of them are their reincarnations or just he has more of her blood since he’s obsessed with a girl he randomly met when they were young.
But now that she (understandably) looks different from back then, yet the same feelings are still at the forefront for him. He’s confused as all hell, tho I still don’t like his behavior.
She’s upset because she loves him, but thinks that his heart will forever be with that girl, dead or not. She thinks that their marriage is purely physical with no love in it, hearing the first rulers story probably didn’t help with her fears as well.
Well then she needs to have a proper conversation like an adult. She's making a lot of assumptions based on small pieces of information. And even if he says he'll always remember the girl, Rine is not entitled to his past. Love is not zero sum. Adding love for B doesn't reduce or diminish love for A. We all know it's not as bad as she thinks, but even if it was, as long as Tarkan is faithful, it's just really not a big deal.
She wasn’t raised as a normal functioning human being like others, she’s been locked up while glancing into Korea to get knowledge and learn. So I don’t know why you’re expecting her to know how to converse in a mature way.
Shes childish and just genuinely clueless when it comes to people, but still steadfast in her goals. It’s only know that she’s really starting to feel love from the bottom of her heart.
If you’re his princess consort and hear of a girl he’s trying to find and that shes his old crush, would you not think that he would grant her that seat, or even a concubines spot? You can sit here and go, “oh he won’t cuz they’re the same person so moot point.” Or, “it was just a crush he wants to thank her that’s it.” We can say that cuz we’re readers.
Shes a character written to be doubtful and worry about tarkan losing affection for her if another woman he’s been looking for for years shows up, and even doubting if he does truly love her.
Like shes brand new to love, and you expect her to be mature about it when love is such a complicated and sometimes even ugly emotion.
I know she's socially inept. So I don't expect her to be me, I understand why she has concerns. But, but at the very least just confirm it one way or the other? Even if she thinks he'll lie, let him lie so that you know for sure he's a liar, you know?? But knowing that he's out on a dangerous, potentially deadly mission, the random unprovoked silent treatment is a huge distraction he can't afford. Like, cuss him out later if needed, but let the man work.
I think the baby is gonna save her mom. Use all her extra haron to make extra lifespan for her or something.
*********SPOILERS******************************
Unfortunately, she does indeed die. There’s a strange artifact thing she uses to communicate once a year or something with Milian and her daughter, but she does pass after 5 years, as that is her end. Don’t worry though: she fucks up the art god good lol, the phone artifact thing is the result (I think) of basically fighting (and winning) against the Art God, who she forced to take responsibility for her shitty fate. Our homegirl got piping PISSED, rightfully so.

They have been together for too long for this trope to make sense. They've been accepted by both his parents already. They have a business together ffs. Like their life together is way too secure for him to run off like this without even a clue to find him. Even if he was threatened into leaving he could've left a hint or gone to their mother. Wtf
