No way man this HAS to be rage bait..... he abuses her for 90% of the story, pulls the most VILE shit on her and his way of repenting is "oH nO mY wIfE mIgHt bE dEaD lEmmE tElL hEr I lOvE hEr rq" like???????? What in the crumbs minimum human decency is thisヽ(`Д´)ノ
AND IT JUST ENDS WITH HER BEING LIKE "Oh well Bjorn will be Bjorn, silly ol problematic prince"(≧∀≦)
Naaaaaaaaa man this is so bs
What abuse are you even talking about? He never hit her?
He forgot her birthday (technically was just late) and then THEIR BABY DIED
He was never abusive to her? He was just dumb.
And then he was a grieving father who didn't know how to grieve.
Did you forget that his child died?? He watched his wife bleed out??
I fail to see how that makes him "abusive 90% of the story" ??
And Bjorn has very obviously been growing for at least 30 chapters. He is not the same person in the end.
Begging y'all to actually pay attention to what you're reading lol.
I'm a victim of 21 years of verbal, mental and physical abuse. I know what that looks like.
I'm still in therapy knowing I'll never fully heal. But this story is not one of him beating her or yelling.
This is about grief and lack of communication. So they fixed it by learning to communicate and properly grieving their child.
Did you forget the snowmen? The conversations they had about their loss?
The last 50 chapters at this point have been about them healing from shared grief of the loss of a child.
Yea I agree. Calling it verbal/mental abuse is a bit of a mislabel I think. I do think its interesting that this story is literally called the problematic prince and we do learn exactly why he is so messed up. I find it interesting how so many people comment about how he is just trash when he is a product of the environment/trauma he lived. I feel like people forget about what he experienced in his previous marriage and how he lived as a prince. Not surprising why he is terrible at trusting people and opening up, and only sees people superficially and negatively. Literally was raised to think of only being a good royal and playing your part, and thats exactly what he did to a fault. Do I think he was a good husband to Erna - obviously no. But I think that there is so much more to this story than that.
YES EXACTLY YHIS !!!
Was he an asshole at many times? Yeah!
But abusive is a Stretch.
Exactly as you said we see exactly why he is like this. We see him understand this, realize he has to change and make those small changes that help him be better.
He was raised to rule over an entire kingdom. There are mental changes one goes through to be able to fully handle that. Obviously his beginning of the story self is having issues not being that person anymore. Obviously that will cause issues in a relationship.
He did things wrong but he wasn't beating and screaming at her. That can be resolved with communication between the two parties.
I was reading a story about a duke's daughter who was captured by the second prince who's trying to start a revolution. In her first life the daughter didn't even know her name and was sent on a mission to kill her parents. Now that she's reincarnated, she's still going along with the second prince's (he has red hair) orders but cooperating with the current king's son (black hair golden eyes). It's kind of a recent manhwa but I lost it in the crash, please please please help!!!
The way baby Ilex copies his grandpa when walking is so cuteeee ╥﹏╥
