So seeing men defend his actions gives me a major ick and really has me scared for the future, especially as a girl. I get that Rudy is a complex character to an extent. Memory loss trope, I hate it with a burning passion. Especially in a story in which the characters went hell and back, went over all these obstacles, and finally see progression in their relationship until, BAM, SOMEBODY ALWAYS HAS TO LOSE THEIR MEMORY . It always feels so cheap and over used. And for some reason authors love pulling this trope dur......   6 reply
