Alright, from time to time, I like recommending titles instead of requesting them. So here is today's recommendation.

Don't worrry! There are no actual dogs involved. It's a collection of stories actually and I recommend chapters 4 and 5...Love both of them for different reasons. Don't read the comments, they're full of spoilers!!
Three years later, and...I think I still agree with this list....! Damn I had good taste :'D

I always feel this strange satisfaction reading tropes about an upcoming apocalypse and how the MC starts hoarding food and ressources and preparing for what's coming. Usually this happens with zombie apocalypses the most, but I don't care what type of apocalypse it is, as long as there's prepping and hoarding. Also, I'll take novel recommendations as well if you have them please?
As for me, I will recommend some novel titles to you guys too:
- After surviving the apocalypse, I built a city in another world by NispedanaSan (SL, Romance Fantasy)
- Transmigrating into another apocalyptic world by Ann_Lucy_4506 (BL)
- Rebirth in the apocalypse: Third time's a charm by Devilbesideyou666 (SL, reverse harem, It starts out great but I dropped it somewhere in the middle)
Anyway, if you also like this trope, please give me titles
I like this trope too! If you haven't read this yet, you can try this. It's BL. https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-reborn-otakus-code-of-practice-for-the-apocalypse/
This is probably asking too much, but are there any GOOD straight love manhwas, that are also period romances but don't involve a fake daughter, bitchy sister, traitor best friend or A-hole husband? Whether it's a reincarnation/regression or not doesn't matter at all, as long as it happens in a nobility setting and doesn't have a martyred FMC
"Marriage of convenience" kinda fits the bill and I loved it but something lighter would be even better.( Think Jane Austin mood)
I wanna say " for my derelict favorite.. IT DOES HAVE TRAITOR BEST FRIEND but not in the way your thinking.. I think they do it really well.

I'm looking for something with a similar ML to the one from Veil, in both the height difference (tall and well built ML) and also personality (rough guy but sweet to his gf). I can't tell you how much I like Aleksander's character *_*
Here's the link btw

Any BL lovers out there who enjoy reading fluff and pure happiness...You will LOVE this one, I just read it and enjoyed it so much so I want to share it!

I'm seeing a huge decline in manga popularity in the face of Webtoons and manhwa. Although I like both but I feel like it's such a shame. Manga has a vibe and depth that just can't be found in webtoons. The plots are also, often, much more interesting and human. Actually, most of my "unforgettables" are manga.
B&W is too much for sum peeps it seems
Agree!! always going back to reading manga when i notice that new manhwas are just slop. I feel the pacing in mangas is also slower and more natural plus the art is really beautiful.
Totally agree. While I love a good Webtoon or manhwa, manga puts me at a loss for words. I only have a small manga section in my local bookstore, and even that is seeing more manhwa and Webtoons come in by the week. It started with a couple super popular bl's, like cherry blossoms, then it branched into titles like marriage of convenience.
But almost everything that I've read that I desperately wanted a physical copy of has been manga. Fragrant flower, windbreaker, haikyuu, horimiya, Sasaki to Miyano, apothecary diaries, assassination classroom, one piece. All manga, all amazing.
I guess it's got to be colorful to grab their attention. I've been trying to read more manga lately too cuz I have a goldfish brain that just goes “ooh color”
Right? I've been using this site since 2016 and the difference is hunge! Back then, everything was manga. Then, once in a while you would instantly become crazy popular despite not being too good honestly. (Like BJ Alex and cherry blossoms etc...) mainly because of the colored smut and more chapters....then of course, the isekai ones started appearing (which I love, I won't lie) and after that more diversity started spreading thankfully but the manga market got flooded and now there aren't nearly as much translations it seems. What a bummer!
I thought I was the only one who felt this way!!! Seriously why are so MANY manhwas/webtoons just slop, gotta dig through trash to find a decent one. Whereas mangas have always been enjoyable with good storyline and characters
