wait i actually really like this twist lol i usually don't like guideverse but I'm seated....
also im glad that gitae still has his disability... it's so rare to see a strong character like that, even more in BL

honestly, when i started reading the manhwa i thought it was just going to be another toxic bl slop story, which like ok I'll admit to enjoying, but the novel sure did change my perspective on lots of things, including Wan's dad.
Wan is really unfortunate to have such a weak minded dad, but when the novel described that the dad got roped into gambling bc he wanted to earn money for his son, it made me p sad.... things aren't all black and white as they make it look like in the manhwa... Wan's dad wants the best for his son, but he's not good at being a dad....
I'm still early-ish (chapter 23) but having the characters thoughts more well fleshed in the novel really gives you a more indepth perspective of everything Wan goes through...
This story is not for those who cannot stomach abusive relationships, and to be honest my advice is to stay clear from it instead of reading just to complain in the comments.

the fact that the ml isn't helping mc with his bills is pissing me off so bad TT mc steal his card or something pls

it's finally here! now we wait for the gearshift scene lolol

I had a lot of fun reading this LOL the tone shift happened so subtly that suddenly i was like "oh shit when did this get serious?!"
Funniest thing ever was Dio being just a teen thrown in the middle of it all like the dude just wanted to be first place in class y'know... also I 100% knew Brett was the serpent I leader but the reveal was still funny too LOLOL how did no one suspect an absolutely jacked dude like that...

I've enjoyed this manga so much that I immediately thought "omg i need the physical copy" (≧∀≦)
