I want sangwoo to get caught and I want him to serve a life sentence in prison as soon as possible, before he can damage yoon bum even more. Yoon bum also deserves punishment but he was pushed into it by sangwoo. I'm disappointed at the number of people saying that this is hot and romanticising the murders.

    baka-tan February 25, 2017 10:17 am

And I am disappointed in people like you that can't tell fiction from reality' and dive too deep into it... Can't we just live or hate it as a webtoon GDI ヽ(`Д´)ノ

    Nekolyn February 25, 2017 11:30 am

    Why disappointed at them?
It's not like people can't distinguish between reality and fiction.
Only 'real sick people' are those who are easily influence by this kind of things and do it in real world.
They are the ones you should disappointed in.

I'm not disappointed in them they think what they want but how the hell can they see them in a romantic way? like wth.
But I like SangWoo and Bum's relationship I find it really intersting. But I will never see them as a romantkc couple

That's cool--some will ship it and others will not. It's just that everyone has a unique way of seeing things, and different definitions of romance (especially in fiction).

I don't think they are a hearts and flowers type of "romantic"--but they do have something intense. I don't personally ship them, but the way their psychological issues intertwine and their growing codependency is shippy in a way. I am not saying it's healthy for them (even in fiction) but that there is something there, and it is not platonic or even just comrades who like killing. It's romantic in the sense of powerful feelings and being focused on each other.

To use a different metaphor, if demons are as spiritual as angels but with a backward moral code, these two are forming a spiritual bond and understanding of the other. It's not just as friends, and it's not exactly as lovers--it is something twisted and beyond that. So, some people see that intensity as exciting in fiction.

It's not love the way putting someone else's interests ahead of your own is, nor is it caring in the sense of helping the other person get better (though Sangwoo may think Bum is now better. But there is a connection, and it is strong.

Well yeah you're right and I agree but I can't feel that way of thinking from lots of comments saying they see them as a romantic couple.
Btw it was a nice explication.

Sure. :) I think some readers are younger (and I don't mean that as a insult) and come at it from an almost naive perspective (e.g if the two were to move away, they could just live a normal life and stop killing). They just don't have the life experience or horror genre savvy to see why that would not work. Give them time.

They say books are like mirrors. I know sometimes I re-read books and see new things in them. The words on the page are the same, but I have changed. It's just how our minds work.

    I get what u mean (≧∀≦)
Very heavy Stockholm syndrome case for this couple.
Or maybe we were all infected by it? Lol

Wow so many replies why am I not surprised. I really love this story and was following it even before the hype, I'm just sick of people deciding that because it is fiction they do not deserve punishment. 'Fiction' does not forgive everything. Using that kind of idea racism, sexism and cultural appropriation is also fine if everyone claims that it's 'only fiction'. That being said I really do love killing stalking and their relationship is very interesting.

I read this because the tags were 'strong female lead' and 'mystery' but this has been very extremely disappointing. I do not mean to offend anyone who liked this and in no means was it bad but I am extremely disappointed in this manga. The plot seemed like caste heaven and I was very excited to read this however it did not deliver. The plot is messy and character development felt weak. Though that is true I did like the art style and the extra story was really great.

    Evergreen February 6, 2020 3:03 am

I agree with you, tsubasa was the cliche justice character and there was practically no development, the plot was very loose, its attempt at suspense failed bad as at each turn I didn't find myself on the edge of my seat but moreso laying back waiting for the story to end and truthfully I was waiting to see how this series would end. Also the idea itself of a single person behind a screen controlling a class was a huge stretch there were many directions it could have gone in. I had hopes for the summary since it was about twins and mystery and undercover disguise but I didn't get much of that. At the beginning she didn't even try to act like her sister, what was the point of going undercover then. The ending saved it though, it packed everything together nicely but could have been better

I'm so confused. Are umineko no naku koro ni and umineko no naku koro ni chiru different??? Why are there like three 'episode two's? What is the order for higurshi???? ahhhhhhhhh (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

    notyurinotinterested May 12, 2018 2:30 am

Idk the order for Higurashi because I've only played the VNs and watched the anime, but "Umineko no naku koro ni Chiru" is the answer arcs of "Umineko no naku koro ni" and you can probably just read whichever episode 2 you want.

People are so extra these days, as a dark skinned female I think this is not racist in the slightest. There are tribes where I come from and I think this has been portrayed beautifully. People take cultural appropriation too far, yes using something from another religion that is sacred is a terrible thing to do but stuff like wearing traditional clothes or writing about them (as long as it is accurate and not rude) is completely fine. I actually was so happy and felt represented seeing dark skinned people being shown as beautiful. I was really excited and the manga did not disappoint, please don't ruin this with your unnecessary comments.
