While I'm not exactly pleased with how Fargo deals with Hyesung's past trauma, it does makes sense why his supposed to be heavy topics/scenes is pretty light hearted here, you can almost hear this funny/perky background music in kdramas/anime, it's prolly cause we should remember this is Byul's story with mostly his perspective. Byul doesn't understand how dark Hyesung's feelings towards his parents are cuz he doesn't know the full story and cannot fathom the pain as he is very much loved by everyone, so we don't see it here but if this was a chapter in Love is an Illusion, trust we'd feel the heaviness just like before bcs Hyesung is a depressed bih deep inside. Also, I'm not satisfied with how they dealt with Hyesung's relationship with his mom and Byul and Dojin's betrayal but I'm kinda glad that Hyesung is still given some realistic characteristics. In reality, a person who loves their parents so much def wouldn't get over them/completely cut ties with them especially if they see them again after a long time and they're not in a dark place anymore. Hyesung is in such a better headspace he has so much love in his heart that's why his hatred towards his mom isn't as strong anymore but he still questions why she abandoned him. In reality, that's just how complicated human emotions are, we're not one dimensional and don't feel only one emotion towards something.

Anyways, this seems to be the temporary end to this plotline, now let's get back to the cutesy couple. We still haven't seen them being couple-y since being a couple.

Cheollie created a topic of Prison Breakfast

I feel like a lot of things were rushed, all things happening at the same time. They spent so much time in that prison and wasted so many chapters in their misunderstandings and the will they won't they type shit, but they ended multiple plotlines in just one chapter. Even the prosecutor's pathetic character development was such a big change, he looks like a completely different character. On one hand I'm happy that the baby's here and they've solved most of the conflict but everything was solved in one chapter, to the point that everything felt pointless. If it was this easy to handle it, then why did it have to be this long??? Even their "past relationship" was only brushed briefly, why introduce a plotline only to move past it just as soon as it was hinted at? And also!! Why did the prosecutor even rape and put MC behind bars if he was actually "in love with him" all this time? If he was this pathetic for MC, how or why did he even do all those god awful things? Idk bro, everything just feels so rushed, especially considering this is still just the few chapters of the new season.

Cheollie created a topic of Happy Together

Just finished rereading S1 for the new season and here's a few guesses I have now that it's my 2nd time reading... First guess is he's working undercover for years either with FBI or a non-government organization, which is why he only came back to SoKor a few years ago and right after coming back he shot to stardom as if he was an industry plant (he's also talented so that helps a lot but his position in this NGO/FBI helped him with resources like his company), the origin of the drugs was Brazil and he canonically came from there, which would back up this guess cuz this means he's following a trail of the drugs and where it's being distributed, cuz this is a whole operation he's handling under the FBI/NGO. Second guess is he's also taken the drugs before but have learned to live with it/bear with it (just like how the doctor explained about dopamine substituting the serotonin) which explains why he's the one being shown when they're talking about it (it can also just be a foreshadowing saying he'll be the one to give it to Jaeyoung and will be the "pilot" of Jaeyoung's dopamine intake), this can be why he's tracking the distributors of the H100, cuz he's taken if before and doesn't want it to spread anymore. Honestly can also be a tie in to one of the doc and manager's convo about always being high on dopamine before, like that's how he met them or he was the reason it was always exciting, cuz he needed dopamine to feel something and this little group with the manager helped. These are the only ones I've got so far and honestly can be put together very easily during the first read but I was kinda confused and drowning in their intimacy during my first read so I didn't pick it up.

Anyways, looking forward to more lore drop and intimate scenes with these two. Seriously, what's with them, they feel so intimate.

Lmao, the bumpy dih is getting mixed reactions. Everyone confused af cuz they don't even address it. Seems like mister had a wild younger days so he had it pierced or some body modifications, they should say it already cuz right now with his size and the look of his dih, he def looks like a monster lmao

Author is really milking this series instead of just creating a new story with this plot. It literally doesn't make sense they'd have this conflict after everything and every resources they have. It would be better with a new story and characters. Guess attaching this new plot to a story/characters that are already loved will make it easier for them to get this plot out of the author's head head but it's really deteriorating the current status of this beloved story that should've ended on a good note. Too bad.

Cheollie created a topic of The Viridescent Crown

I'm so confused, it's been months since Sheena arrived and all that stuff with the door. It seemed so urgent to the point that it seemed like they'd have to deal with that "darkness" within the week or something, monsters were even rampaging and demons were spawning. Now all of a sudden they have the leisure to travel to the capital and all that, declare a war and hold a wedding ceremony, these went on for months surely as simply travelling to and from the north takes weeks (or was it a month?). Where is the urgency to deal with the door and why is it suddenly so calm???

I binge read this as it's been years since I last read it but I just now realized how unimpressive Lan actually is. She's the type of MC that only seems so great because people around her are much more unimpressive. Kinda like making an MC smart by making the villains dumb. She only had the cheat code of knowing the future and modern world that's why she's done well for herself, but when things happen outside of dealing with things she's already "read" she just becomes a damsel in distress. They keep painting her as this such a "good person" but it's just the bare minimum of human decency. Lmao. Even the villains were so cliché and one dimensional, the author seemed to just spam villains rather than making just one good villain.

Cheollie created a topic of Maria no Danzai

Can't wait for this to end, the twists and turns are getting a littttle too ridiculous, it's tiring me. I just need for them to end it all and for the mother and father to get back together.

Cheollie created a topic of Cherry Cake

Despite the MC's looks, he def isn't like most naive omega MCs, even his takes on sex. Lmao. I surprisingly enjoyed reading this (so far). Lots of things could definitely be better, like the art and flow of the story but it's not too bad.

Cheollie created a topic of Alpha Trauma

Of course Dohyun acts different in this story compared to the prequel, the dynamics were vastly different. That story was a few years ago and he's obviously older now who wants to be with someone younger, he wants to act more mature rather than being seen on the cuter side cuz he's younger. It's as simple as someone acting when they're with an older partner vs being the older one in the relationship. It's even said in here that he's putting on airs now that he's the older one/sunbae in the department but acts different when with other sunbaes older than him, that's normal. Some people in the comsec act as though they stay the same whether they're with older or younger people, ever heard of code switching? ALSO it's obvious he's doing it so much bcs he wants to have the edge in the relationship with Wooyeon, acting more mature and like he's always in control is his way of keeping Wooyeon on his toes. It's stupid but you can't really blame him, as he's said back when he was Wooyeon's age he liked someone (MC of Omega Trauma) but quickly got over them in about a month or two. He's definitely worried Wooyeon will also do the same. Not to mention, all his baggage and insecutities abt being an orphan and Wooyeon being from a rich family, he's definitely desperate to keep Wooyeon focused on him by always edging him and keeping him on his toes.

I do hate him right now tho, I understand why he's doing what he's doing but I need a desperate ML who chases after MC, not all these mental gymnastics and games. I feel like if there'll be a chasing arc it wouldn't even be that long or yearnmaxxing (lmao) cuz Yeon is def gonna forgive that mf faster than you can say Mississippi.

I have a feeling the reason he left will be so dumb everyone will wish this new season didn't just happen. I literally just scrolled past the chapters the moment they said it's been months since he's seen. What kind of dumbfuckery is this? They're already married ffs. God I hope it's not something dumb like the grandfather threatened to ruin Taesung or his mom's career or something. DO NOT RUIN MY HOME AUTHOR-NIM!!! THIS IS A PEACEFUL HOUSEHOLD, CREATE A NEW STORY IF YOU WANT TO INSERT A NEW COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND STUPID STORYLINE PLEASE EVERYONE'S BEGGING YOU

Just when I thought this story wouldn't have this troupe with it, it came out with extras just so it could tick off the voyeurism/exhibitionistic kink. Man, this author is really into this kinda thing, all their works have it.

That panel in ch 12 with seme holding a waffle but it's opaque and wasn't rendered is so funny to me

Cheollie created a topic of Happy Together

Casually licking your bf's armpit without reacting to it (no reaction from the one being licked as well) is so funny to me. No one even addressed it. Lmaooo

Oh! I thought Chaos was the same guy that was obsessed with Woojoo, they look so similar that I only just now realized they're different people after they said Chaos' irl name. Σ(゚Д゚;) I thought that's why he gave so much help and favor to Crong and why he knows Ares.

Cheollie created a topic of Work Love Balance

Honestly, the whole sequel is pretty meh, almost like the author didn't even know where they'll take the story or had no plans for the couple, hence the introduction of a new character who we tackled for longer than we should've, forcefully injecting it in the current couple's dynamics unnecessarily. We pushed through the last season despite it being all about Dohyun's story, hoping that after that shitshow they'll finally tackle the MC and ML's relationship, but nope. The new season should've been a new arc or phase in their relationship but nope, we're still stuck exploring the other dude's unrequited love. This should've ended in the last season not in this new season.

Cheollie created a topic of Who Made Me a Princess?

I feel so sad reading this chapter knowing she'll die, fml

The author seems to put all these realistic and fairly traumatic experiences in their stories without actually knowing how heavy it actually is, they just put it there for plot convenience and to make the story seem deeper than it is. But they don't actually know how deep the topics are and how one would actually act if they experience it. That's why in the story Hyesung has such a fcked up background story to make him miserable so the story can seem like a Cinderella or romanticized bs like that but the author doesn't understand the nuance and depth of what they wrote so they trivialize the rape, abuse, and neglect that they wrote into the story. They want to put it in their story but can't write it well enough to give justice. Smh.

The art is so familiar I just can't remember what story they drew as well. I remember that chibi style so well but can't put my finger on it... It's not listed in here as well...
