Iirc, in the end, he plans to end his life after exposing the corrupt kingdom and essentially ending the monarchy and nobility but Lorena indirectly lets him know she doesn't give a shit about him but also that she doesn't wish for him to die (she sends his dog to him, mirroring how he always sent it after her to find her)
So ig he does live on with the realization he fucked up big time and should've cherished Lorena because in his own way he truly did love her, only he realized it too late. Also, Miguel and Lorena were simply meant to be.

No, that's never discussed in the story. He leaves that mansion and most of his assets to her, iirc. The staff were probably all let go of.
They don't hash anything out either. She doesn't want it and never lets him explain away his behaviour. He tries to but he doesn't push it too much...he's too proud ig. Valle/Vaye remains almost an enigma until the very end.
He ll find her ( she shot her ex student/ son of viscount who tried to hit on her when she taught him but she was named as seductress and thrown out of the capital / anyway he tries to rape her but she shoots him and run away) the marquis finds and thinks she fled to meet her (ex lover) but after knowing she shot him he is certain she never loved that jerk, he finds her later due to medicine of her sister, he takes her back , he is angry and her and still doesn’t understand his feelings ( that he is in love with her, obsessing over her and is vulnerable and weak in front of her : he lost) they have sex for days ( not willingly ofc , she let him vent his anger ) they talk and argue, and finally she accepts him, there’s a trial of that bitch for slandering * his lover/ fuance* and putting that painting, she is sent to a covenant, they get married
