The art is great but the plot is lowk lacking so it's kinda mid. The concept of the bottom having this 'idgaf about your opinion i just wanna express myself through art' is a great chara but because the author tried to add other dilemma (like the mentor along with the top's narration giving us less insight on the actual thought process of the bottom) that kinda muddled the essence of it. Just wish that it was longer just so tht they could do each variables some justice.

First and foremost, i honestly don't think the MC is a pdf . He is just doomed by the narrative. He really tried to not be too biased with the 2 princes to the point where it became a bias. The reason he's more doting/close to the 2nd prince is all just accumulation of pity (and ofc experience). The MC met both princes in a cell, and he felt sorry for their state (keep in mind they have been imprisoned for 15 years). In chap 20, the guy said not to get too close with the 2nd prince (i think this is due to the fact that MC will get nothing out of it as the 1st prince will most likely succeed the throne, having 2 potential successors only cause conflict so aligning with the 2nd prince will only be a bad deal for him). Also, in the 1st prince's flashback, we see the 2nd prince hugging the MC. He tells "us" that it was an expression the 2nd prince did not show him (i mean, who would? if you were imprisoned all your life and having seen all that weird cult shit every week, i guarantee you, you will never show that relief sort of expression). But, in the 2nd prince's flashback, we actually see their convo and we could kinda see how and why the 2nd prince became attached to MC (if you were, again, trapped all your life and you meet this dude who not only saved you but also offers you this sweet words of affirmation that you matter and none of this is your fault, ofc you'd rely on them). At the beginning idk bro it was weird how he was like "I'd follow you" and all that shit :l (is he a pdf? idk bro i ain't him, i also dont know why I'm defending him) i yap too much, point is, it was all the 1st prince's doing. Manipulating the MC into thinking that his motive is impure, that even if he only wants to protect and follow the 2nd prince, those are actually just a front for his desires. This manhwa is WAY beyond me, for some reasons unknown, I spiralled and read this in one sitting. Don't get me wrong I ABSOLUTELY hated this.
MOST chapters are just SA, rape, basically words that describe sexual act that are forced and nonconsensual, the whole textbook of it too. The whole plot is just sex and more sex. It is painfully obvious the author wanted something out of those forced sex, a new light, perhaps, on the supposed ML.
ML: a stubborn kid that wanted to rewrite history with black magic (even when history tells them that oh, those are, fr no joke, dangerous). His mother scolds him A LOT and he takes it upon himself to prove them wrong (spoilers: they were right)
MC: only wants to protect ML, not just because of his duty but also as his friend, so he strived to be strong (he became too strong and stroke ML's ego)
ML: REVENGE
so the whole shebang of unfortunate events happening towards MC that are depicted in this WHOLE manhwa is because ML couldn't handle the fact that someone is stealing all his "supposed" glory. And at the end, not only did the author and ML humiliate the MC even further by the author revealing that MC has feelings for ML and now ML upon learning this, well duhh he did what any crusty stinky stupid fuck with enormous ego would do, he ravaged him EVEN MORE
now here comes his "redemption arc": he likes him aww AS IF YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT!! I'm not here to lecture you how you should treat the person you like/liked but what he did is for sure not in the checklist of someone in love to the other person.
