No it's not in the past cause they are a couple now. I don't remember much but Mc always narrated in such a way that meant "we didn't know what would happen when we got together" . Since they're together now , it's in the present

Im not exactly sure... I just keep hearing everyone say it gets worse. An some have said they've read the raws an are dropping it.. so im nervous so see.
