i found this randomly, so it took me seeing chase miller on screen to understand that grayson and him are siblings and that this is a story written in the same universe. don’t ask me why the art and the title didn’t avoke any kind of realization in me

im continuing to read this story cus the storyline is interesting, but how are we at ch 74 and there’s barely any romantic progression between the two. like i can appreciate a good slow burn but it doesn’t feel like the story is going anywhere now.
perhaps this is a little macabre, but i was kinda expecting the mc to off himself in front of the emperor. that would’ve been a better ending imo
the high rating tricked me. wdym the fl is 15 and the ml has a son her age???? why couldn’t he just introduce her to his son my girl was enslaves for so long just to become a stepmom at 15 oh lawdddd
as much as i like this story, i do get the feeling this is gonna end up being one of those manhwas with like 500chapters. the story is moving, yes but it’s progressing a little too slow. we’ve barely heard from her family when one of the main points of this story is that they’re waiting for her to unalive so they can start a war. that whole storyline, including them finding out about her emperors eye, feels like it would be a 100 in itself. i get that the title of this manhwa is «-id rather go make money» but i fear it makes no sense that we’re 100 chapters deep, and her family still haven’t done anything. are they deadass just waiting for her to drink the poison??
this whole story has gone through its ups and downs, but tbh i feel like this chapter kinda redeemed the downs a little. yes, they’re both pretty frustrating at times, but in some way it’s kinda realistic. i don’t remember the name of this other manhwa, but i’ve subconsciously been comparing it to another war-story with a blond FL and black haired ML with a «right person wrong time —> right person right time» story. but i think i prefer the way they resolved this better. overall this was a nice story with great art and good romance (like ROMANCE romance if that makes sense)
i don’t know if i’m being dramatic but not vibing with how they turned the birth sexual. how does it make sense that he’s got a hard on while pushing out children? i really like the story so far, but this episode, which i was looking really forwards to, was a miss for me

the story line seems nice, but i don’t understand the age gap.. i’m guessing she was older than him before she «died» and then turned younger. but how much younger? cus rn it feels very off if tbh if she’s supposed to be 12 and he is 18+.. like if they were the same age then it would be cool but my guy looks like a grown as man blushing at a kid saying his name…..
