In my opinion the second couple was wayyy more interesting than the main one. Since they had broken up from the start and was getting back together, it just wasn’t interesting to me compared to—two people developing feelings because of circumstances. Not only that, it’s just the main couples character designs just weren’t my taste and I didn’t like the dynamic as much, not to mention the weird sa and overly obsessiveness like hello?? ngl i skipped all of their scenes and just read the side couple. I just thought they were overall more interesting and had a better story plot.
I genuinely thought this was going to be super toxic but was pleasantly surprised on how it wasn’t. The characters were interesting at most but I didnt particularly like the character designs the small uke and large top always irks me. Anyway the plot twist genuinely gobbsmacked me it wasn’t something i was expecting it definitely drove the story for me. Because unfortunately without the interesting plot I would’ve dropped it.
I thought the story was actually really good I loved the art and the action but the only part that irked me we how much felix got like sexually assaulted like bro was it really necessary for him to be sexualized every few minutes it was just odd. I kept trying to finish this but I genuinely can’t because I don’t even like the main couple they are insufferable. Top has been mysterious for 60 chapters and I’m soooo over it. And I know the bottom is supposed to be a pushover but instead of being cute it got so much more annoying over time. i tried to thug it out to see what the ss dungeon was for but i’m overly irritated i’m not wasting anymore of my time. It was really interesting in the beginning but fell off at like chapter 20 or something i don’t remember
overall I thought the story was cute but just maybe not my taste. as much as I liked it I thought a lot of the scenes were corny lmao. Idk I just think it was a little repetitive with the top losing control and mc being there to comfort him. I mostly kept readying for youngbae bc he’s bad AFFF i was hoping he would get a side story but he has a wife and kid so shrug.
as much as I loved this story I felt it revolved around drama with derek as a contrast to their relationship, i mean like we only saw them go on like 1 date, i just felt like throughout the 60 chapters we weren’t getting a lot of relationship insight and more of other stuff. Of course I did love it overall I just wish we saw more of like luke and andrew being together.. which I hope comes in the side story
I really did love this story, it was genuinely like a breath of fresh air because of omegaverse slop that comes out all the time. Finally the couple isn’t toxic in the slightest and they actually have conversations about feelings and underlying emotions. I absolutely love the main couple and I wish they had more chapters of them being together and like them going on vacation. However my only criticism is that I really dislike the side couple. I understand the point of the side couple is to show change in a partner and how that can better a relationship bud I honestly think that the alpha was an awful person and didn’t even love the omega in the slightest. It was only like 5 chapters but from all I saw was the guy using him simply for a child or just to be wedded for business. I’m annoyed that the omega didn’t just leave and raise the baby on his own because he was basically going back to his abuser. Not to mention if they do get back together they probably still have to deal with the insane mother in law, it just seemed like a off decision to make them rekindle the relationship when it was abusive from the beginning. By making the omega leave the alpha abuser it would show that omegas don’t NEED alphas to survive and that the omega was stronger than his past feelings for his lover but by making them get back together it just shows that alpha and omegas DEPEND on eachother to live ://

i really need to stop taking reccs from tt because I thought this was a beta x alpha story but the mf beta turns into an omega! I really liked the plot in the beginning it was so interesting but whenever they changed mc to human that’s where it fell off. They made him a twink compared to his real life version and he’s basically useless the entire story he doesn’t even try to get home all he does is eat and walk around. Not to mention all the characters seem flat we don’t even know any of their backstories by like chapter 40 and that’s only about 20 chapters away from the ending. Idk the art is lovely but it can’t make up for lack of plot and flat characters… and I just lwk hate mc for almost acting like a child ://
i really liked the character designs but it really bummed me out how much of an asshole they make the bottom. Like I love punk / edgy characters but they made him unbearable. I don’t think I’ll ever get over this story, it’s been my favorite for years and I finally got the chance to reread it and honestly it was the highest moment in my life. I pulled an all nighter just to read the entire thing in one go. I adore this story and how it came to be, the art was beautiful and the story was breathtaking. I don’t think anything can top it. I’m devastated that it has ended but i’m also happy that I could finish it. I will forever love this story and thank that author wanted to make this. I’ll drastically miss the characters and everything that happened but I’ll always be happy to reread again

However the top was like overly controlling when they hardly ever had a conversation let alone talked for the past like 5 years. You can’t really be protective over someone who isn’t even considered your friend. And another thing is that when they were flirting their communication was awful and I know that happens but it was the same thing over and over again . They would see each other interacting with a different person then break down and act like the sky is falling because they apparently have friends. It was just weird and the top gives me such creepy vibes it’s just not going the way I wanted this story to. Plus the uncensored-ness made it like 10x worse I do not need to see that bro
