Guys, there is something wrong with u people's. The girl is not wrong, if u read it carefully, the Mc original owner of that body wasn't a good person and he really wanted her. It's her right to reject the marriage but it's sad that she is under pressure that she have to sacrifice herself for her family and people. If the original owner wasn't dead and married her, he would have been treating her like shit. Try being realistic u all.
Honestly, I found myself disliking her too. The reason why everyone is so quick to hate is because, as readers, we see from the perspective of the MC and once they are wronged in any sort of way, we attack and latch onto hate. I had to remind myself to think from her perspective and not villainize her. It also adds to the hate when the genre is action. No one can really appreciate any sort of fiance being introduced into the bubble when we all want blood and fights not romance. Then its all（/TДT)/ from there
But don't forget one thing. What is her job? She grew up to be married off. It does sound hard, but she never had to work, her education was for the purpose to be wedded to another aristocrat, to strengthen the bond, like in this comic. The chances are slim that she will fall in love with another high ranking person. I do not feel sorry for her one bit. I m happy that I live in this time of age.
I don't blame her at all honestly. I understand her situation is shitty and why she wanted to not get married. Only reason I don't want them to be together in the future is because he was originally a old man and it would feel pretty weird to date a girl that young. It just wouldnt mentally feel right to most people when you think about the mental gap between them....

When I tried to read a murim novel with a female lead, it was horrible. Ohh she is so strong and can do so much, she is so special but is insecure and is like a little rabbit hiding. Instead of doing anything, she stands there and gets rescued by the ML.
