I quite like the mix of romance and action and I think y'all forget that part of this story is going to be Baphomet learning new human emotions in fact this story is literally Baphomet becoming human (something he wanted from the start) and part of that means learning and dealing with human enotions such as love as that is a big part of the human experience I think it really fits in and it provides character development as we know this is probably something he never would've done in the beginning besides y'all would be even more mad if Reaper was a brainless damsel in distress always relying on him or just a boring girl just there for him to marry for a "happy ending" put away your preconceived notions and learn to give things a chance and if you don't want to there are plenty of other power fantasy actions with no romance no one is forcing you to stay and read this one

I hate when these stories are inconsistent the duke is so powerful and strong but he can't keep one little girl from shutting her mouth she basically ran away from home so if she say lost her way and froze to death on a cold night no one can say anything and even if he didn't wanna kill her because Etisha might be sad just let her experience some hardship by messing with her family or something and she'll learn that she can't mess with him
