How many times do people have to say it before it goes through your skull??? THIS IS ALL ILLEGAL!!! When y'all post crap, people see that and report it to authors and this sit...... 1 reply
I've been into comics since middle school and I'm now in college. For me reading is just my main hobby in general, I don't think anything/anyone could mess that up for me. reply

I was bouncing between 3 or 4 sites when I came across a forum thread with someone talking about Mangago. I was always looking for a new place to read so I came and it's awesome. The set up, the comment section, basically everything about it. My only complaint would be the browsing system when you want to find something new. But even that isn't a b...... reply
I'd definitely have to juggle between a couple other sites but I'd say yes. I was fine before I knew mangago existed. I just moved everything here because it's easier to keep everything together. reply
So I've been reading more remarriage stories and I've noticed a really common theme among them that's starting to rub me the wrong way. It's when FL's are still virgins after 2, 4, 5, 10+ years of marriage (in case they go back in time). It might be a little controversial, and of course I'm not saying the just because you're married you have to sleep with your husband. Of course not. It's when I read stories where FL loves her husband (I'm just generalizing so I'm not gonna name any examples) and wants him but nothing happens even in like a throwaway sentence or something, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Even more so when Authors will come up with the most convoluted reasons to have FL's come out of marriage a virgin ex: "he just didn't find me hot" that's clearly not true because all it took was you changing your hair or outfit Disney style to make him drool over you. It really reminds me of Purity Culture where women(FL's) must stay pure virginal angels who must never be touched by anyone but their soulmate even when they're already married and into the man they're with AT THE MOMENT (I'm not going to get into why that's toxic I think it's pretty self explanatory). This is especially clear in the lower quality more "mass produced" (if that makes any sense) stories where FL is with the ML and the energy is immediately so much different. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish stories would be a little bit more realistic about things and stop pushing virgin FL's. I'm just picking on remarriage because that's the one that makes the least sense to me right now. I know I'm not wording it the best but I want to know if anyone else understands.
Hot take! People are allowed to debate in the comments, that's literally what they're for! I just saw the most awful conversation on a manga with op getting heated over one of the characters and the responses got on my nerves. "It's not that deep" and "calm down lol" were probably the most annoying. Are we not allowed to have opinions anymore the comment section is literally there to discuss our opinions GOOD OR BAD! If op wants to get heated over a character then let them. It's every authors wish for readers to get drawn into a story enough to feel something about the characters. Why must we be criticized for that? "If you don't like don't read" seems to be a growing opinion between users these days, so learn to take your own advice if you don't like the comment dislike and move on with your life if there's nothing constructive to add!
This all generalizing on everything I've read combined so for me it goes:
1. Manga: In the majority of the manga I read unless I'm actually looking for a psychological tragedy good green flag ML's are not hard to find (whether straight or BL). Even when the ML is cold the worst he would do is ignore you when ask for him.
2. Manhwa: ML in manhwa have definitely gotten better of the years however I feel that's it's still a coin flip on whether you'll get stuck with trash, a dumbass, or a good boy. I feel that even as manhwa authors make their ML the most dogshit pos by the power of plot it always twists into this thing where the ML is actually innocent and loved the MC the whole time or he actually did all of that to protect the MC from his evil family and MC died never knowing (or at least that's how it goes in straight fantasy). In BL while it's easier to find a nice ML I still like manga BL over manhwa.
3. Manhua: Why is it that I actively have to try to find an ML that's not batshit insane. In fact the only good manhua I have ever read are all BL. It's either 800+ chapters of bullshit or the most convoluted plot that you could ever come up with there's no in between. I think manhua authors love the misunderstanding plot more than Korea and Japan combined.
This usually happens in the villainess subgenre but for me the absolute worst has to be the stupid "tea spill" scene. Where a maid serving tea to the FL will suddenly spill the (hot) tea all over her. And the FL will usually end up saying 'are you alright' just or something along those lines.
Now I know this is meant to showcase how "different" and nice the FL is compared to the OG villainess. But we need to pretending like the OG is in the wrong for getting mad and firing the maid. Sure there's usually a slap included which is probably overkill but again it's fair for her to be mad if she literally got hot tea spilled all over her. The maid had one job, I honestly think it's completely fair to fire her over it there's no need to keep a person who can't even pour tea in a teacup.
I'm not defending all the OG villainesses because some of them are actually straight up evil incarnate. But I'm not gonna act like their anger over these specific "tea scenes" isn't justified.
