I think the story is doing really well in solidifying her personality. She lacks social experience due to her odd upbringing. Thats why her brother felt so guilty. She did her best with what she had, even if it turned out a mess. The story is still early so I’ll let her mistakes pass.
Tbf I dont think ppl are annoyed at her personality. They are annoyed because so far, she is a static character. She doesn't learn from her mistakes even tho they put her in quite the blatant disadvantage (something that she should know), as whatever happened in the plot previously does not influence her psyche. Not only that, but she also doesnt even try thinking "maybe I should be more careful about how to say stuff) after the second time getting into trouble because of that and someone needing to save her ass before she gets executed.

Man I know the ml is like ass or whatever but like why do I miss him. I’ve always hated the self centered overpowered isekai dudes but like bro is fr turning into a mega simp and I TOTALLY think the heroine deserves a guy at her beck and call lmaoo. It’s an interesting change up. Also it feels more 3 dimensional.
I love a reassuring and dependable ML but most manwhas make them so basic and with no personality so seeing this guy with flaws is interesting. Of course if he doesn’t beg or help enough he’s off my list LMAO
