I also hate how he just show up everywhere, most men in this story doesn't even respect boundaries.
I remember reading this back in 2017 it is kind of a problematic japanese yaoi. But the only thing i remember about the story is that the main character left home and then he rent this apartment and i guess he is with his toxic boyfriend and then his younger brother visited and then this younger brother somehow fuck with this boyfriend and then the reason why he knows his younger brother is fucking with his boyfriend is because he received a phone call and then he heard his younger brother moaning in the background but this boyfriend of his is not the end game he somewhat end up with a gentleman wearing an overcoat another thing is this younger brother really wanted to get the older brother's attention that's why he did that. The reason i remember that is bcz i was flabbergasted withe everything going on i was just 14 at that time

Sadly, it wasn't like this in the early chapters. The (potential?) male lead seemed to be just a friend, or more of a supporting character for Simone's development. Fans were intrigued by the horror vibes, but yeah as we go on, female characters in stories always seem to have romantic partners because it's always been the tradition. Just like the publisher said in little women “If the main character is a girl, make sure she is married by the end. Or dead. Either way.”
Well, i DO want each character in this story to flourish and have their own story, not just become a side piece to someone else's. I don't want the male character to exist solely as a romantic device, but i also don't want the female characters to be reduced to romantic relationships either. I want them to have meaningful relationships and character arcs without everything eventually having to become romantic.BUTTTT WE ALL KNOW THAT SHE IS GOING TO END UP WITH THE ML SO YEAHHH
Yeah I actually wouldn't mind it if there is no romance. This story feels like it would be best without romance, it doesn't need it tbh
It's ok to have romance in the story, problem is that they always make it the main premise, and it leads to endings like weddings or having kids. why? Why not just hint at a potential romance at the end, after all the problems have been sorted out, or something...
