Lowk hope that the seme falls first, not the uke

Man,,,, I've always disliked the secret 'I was always your past lover/ first love' trope because it cheapens all of the development. Yes, even if they're 'technically different people', it's just not as compelling when a heart wrenching unrequited love gets recycled as another fated pair bs

I'm a sucker for unconventional omegaverse tropes but the grooming is problematic

Lowk a representation for the diff between sexual and romantic attraction
Although I've yet to encounter a story where sexual attraction really doesn't develop

Ik this is fiction but I don't think I'd be peaceful with someone that unstable and violent
I was hoping the seme would grow up a little, but then it just ended right there smh

There's some pacing issues, but it's hard to argue because it's psychological, the point was to fuck with us, and I was indeed fucked hahaha

I wonder why I still keep reading this genre

Why r we here just to suffer

Y'know what, this would've been interesting if we didn't already know what horrid shit the ML has done to MC.

I get that the point was the uke is an ass, and I love messy ukes, but it only works if they go through a proper closure. This is the reverse 'shitty' seme syndrome where a redemption arc is either rushed, nonexistent, or not treated with the deserved gravity - this time it's the uke.

Still a good story and I love the messiness of the characters. But the ending was not satisfying

It would've benefited by having the revenge pullout more built up, it's not like it wasn't foreshadowed in the first place, but it wasn't prepped enough, so when it happened it didn't feel as satisfying. I just felt blue balled and still had pent up frustration on behalf of the uke. Now this could've been resolved if the after scenes were great too, but it was a little light and rushed compared to the intense gravity of the revenge arc.

Not a bad story, but what makes every average story frustrating for me is I can clearly see how it could've been directed better, but I can't do anything about it lol. At least reading an outright bad story is kinda camp.

I'm sorry but I love when ukes are spicy like this

Aside from the problematic start, I kinda like how it's done in service of the plot and not just brushed over (it could've been gone a lot harder, but it's not really a drama manhwa). Their messiness is fun and a snarky bottom and a crybaby top is always a fun dynamic

Also the smut is unbelievable
It's an absolute game changer when the bottom is just as much (or even more) into it than the top

I am confusingly attracted to the wife
I might need therapy...

A lot of heart and nuance was put in this one. A very rich, well-developed world and a cast of interesting characters (the sides aren't one dimensional). The emotions are quite visceral, the happiness, the sex, the sadness, the tension. Plus amazing art.

The framework of the story is a little cliché, but when it's done so good you don't really mind it.

As a Philo major, you won't believe the shock I felt when the opening lines were fucking Deleuze instantly hooked even if I don't really enjoy characters like the ML

What a beautiful story ♪~(´ε` )

Absolutely relieved it wasn't another kidnapping BL. Perfectly paced, emotions that pierce through the screen, amazing art. I love how they properly addressed the mixed emotions by the uke, which many BLs seem to just brush off quite quickly. He does not respond to the seme's confession with the same weight, and even acknowledges the possibility that they would both move on. Bittersweet, but alas it's what makes it good. I love when stories leave room for us to speculate and imagine, and doesn't just outright give a finished ending (although this is hard to pull off because if you mess up, the story might be unsatisfying)

5/5 stars!
