I don't find Boku no Pico to be particularly shocking, or anything really. I just sort of feel indifferent about it. After having read yaoi for a while, I'm well aware of the shotacon genre and over-exaggeration of various scenes. That being said, I don't think Boku no Pico is necessarily a good yaoi, or a bad one.
