im not going into details but it is the entirety of the novel so do not read if you dont want to get spoiled.





so we know that he have DID now bc of his childhood trauma. i wont go deep on that but theres the night kim shinwoo who act childish and day kim shinwoo who is fucking evil. they are the same person of course but night ml only appears at night bc thats when day ml go to sleep.

every night, mc and night ml met without day ml knowing about it. at first mc had to pretend he like the night ml bc he was being so persistent since night ml really adores him. mc slowly falls for night ml bc he felt like he had to protect him. and they also did sexual stuff except penetrative sex. mc went through every kind of injury having to protect the ml as he is the bodyguard after all so whenever that happens day ml starts being nice but then go back to being mean.

a major accident happen involving ml stalker where the stalker tried to kill both of them so they had to be admitted to the hospital. (around this time, day ml had started to warmed up to mc bc he kept on saving his life) ml requested for both to be in the same room and they ended up sleeping together. and i mean just sleeping ( for the day ml anyways). night ml woke up, they have a conversation, starts kissing and shit. what they didnt know is that day ml actually recorded the whole thing so he could hear what happen while he was asleep. i dont really remember why but ig he was suspicious that mc already know about his secret which is the other personality.

after they got discharged, they went home ( they are still living together) but mc went out somewhere so ml took the chance to listen to the recording and shit you know he went batshit insane destroying everything in the house lmfao. mc came home and they argue about it so he was about to leave but ml told him to stay, of course the classic “don’t go” love it. anyways he still left obviously.
but he actually came back after he went to buy some aids from the pharmacy. he starts treating ml injury but ml questioned him like why did you come back and he kissed mc for like a moment and pulled back. but then mc kiss him back and this time it went further to the point they had sex. he also had sex with night ml right after.

so anyways they started dating then we have a kidnapping cliche and third act breakup but both of them are safe and make up in the end. its pretty wholesome towards the end of the main story i do like it they are both very much obsessed with each other.

i do have some things im not really satisfied with like how the mc move on so fast from the person he had a crush on for 10 years?? not to mention this whole thing happening within the proximity of said person its like he was never in love with the crush. one other thing is right at the end it was said that his DID kinda became one personality like they just merge back bc he was able to be himself again but like are we not going to therapy i dont know if it can just be resolve that way. im not sure yet maybe this was further explained in the side story (apparently it was an extra about the manager’s diary lol ig this is the end). i do like this story they are very wholesome and cute after they started dating except for ml obsession and possesiveness but oh well im too used to that so i dont really mind.
