I think it's good. the translation is meh and the updates don't have any kind of schedule but the story is good.

there are no romantic feelings so i just read it for the comedy. i think that the author is pushing it a little to far like ik some boy-friends are close and are comfortable with doing “non-straight shit” but having your homie wear an apron while you are blindfolded and try to get the steamed bun he put on his ass is not really straight for me (im talking about the latest chapter)

What do u mean no romantic feelings. I’m also at the latest chapter. But from what I remember (read to many manhwa sometimes it gets a little fuzzy overall remember the manhwa if it’s really good) they were showing a lot of affection of love that no friends would go that far. I get the funny misunderstandings aren’t romance but they’ve been deep with each other and I think are moving in the direction of having a relationship. Idk how to explain it but am I the only one seeing the signs here or am I just crazy. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

i do know what you mean, but that was the problem for me. they kiss and all but that all “homie stuff” if you get what i mean. I say it is bromance because not once they thought of each other as something different than friends. I can’t really say it is final because this story is not over and it could go MANY different directions. that was just my view on it considering past chapters

Oh really. I thought blondie (forgetful with names) has had some thoughts as being other than friends although it isn’t actually shown shown idk I can just tell. Kinda like the undertone u know. And black hair is just getting more aware and conscious of how he feels towards blondie. But he’s in more denial for sure. Idk why they won’t admit it cuz they get jealous over each other quite a bit.

The reality is quite opposite of what you're implying through these questions. Most people favor Sahara over Hwaryun. Most people hate Hwaryun for being a "jerk," which makes zero sense to me. Hwaryun is arguably the most likable character in this story if you actually have a firm understanding of the story in terms of the plot/relationship dynamics/character building. Suu likes Sahara, but it is not the romantic type of "like." He appreciates Sahara for being there and Sahara is somewhat of a temporary crutch for Suu.

Let's put it this way: if Suu is a captain sailing through raging waters, then Sahara is his crew mate who volunteers to do everything he can to help Suu make it through the rough sea. Sahara also needs to help Suu because helping Suu will allow for both of them to survive through the storm, which is analogous to Sahara's need for Suu to feed. Hwaryun is the sea that constantly stirs Suu's heart. The sea can be dangerous and unpredictable at time but also calming and consoling at others. We see the duality through many scenes in the story. Do your research and you will know what I mean.

In the current plot, we have just made it through the storm and have entered calmer waters. The change in scenery can bring one to tears after exhaustion of the perilous fights prior to peace. Try to figure out what I mean by this lol. Sahara no longer needs to service the captain as much, as there is less to do and fret over. He can now go back to fulfilling her regular duties as crew mate, which is probably why he will stay as a baby for the next several chapters. Suu is comforted by the calming waters and feels that he never wants to leave the security that he has now. This is why he says he will "forget about most things if Hwaryun apologizes to him." I'm not going to continue further with my analogy, as I think I've offered enough food for thought. You can take things to the next level if you're interested.

oh thank you for youur detailed analogy.....i was just a little sad that sahara loved suu but didnt recieve anything back...nowadays there are so may love triangle manhwas where atleast one person is left alone that i thoughtsahara was going to end up like that ....in all in i think neither suu nor sahara love each other they are just helping each other to fight the storm...I dont know about the prince because if he was in another manhwa he would have been bashed so badly.

for me which following this comment thread long time, saharah team is a lot than suryeon.. now because it's been a long time (almost 30chapter) since suryeon comes out..

The prince is already being bashed hard enough. He doesn't need to be in another manhwa to get the amount of hate he is receiving as of now. Most of the people bashing him are hypocritical and blind, though. They also don't have a firm understanding of the story either, nor do they pay attention to detail.

I think the problem is that most people don't understand the idea of objectivity. If we're getting philosophical here, most people lack direction, purpose, or objective, which makes it hard to understand Hwaryun as a character. The frame of reference of the reader is different from the frame of reference that the author has depicted for Hwaryun's character. Hwaryun is a stoic by classic stoicism standards and most people do not practice stoicism so it is difficult to harbor an appreciation for someone as objective and collected as Hwaryun.

Most people only care about what services them in the moment. Humans are rather impatient creatures that only care about their immediate needs. Hwaryun, on the other hand, is the opposite of this. The appreciation of Hwaryun comes from the fact that Hwaryun practices patience and sacrifice of his immediate needs for a greater goal, a greater objective. I guess what I'm trying to say is that most readers are so small head that they don't understand or appreciate this amazingly rare and beautiful quality that Hwaryun possesses. I am also pretty sure that this is how the author intended to write Hwaryun too.
