The pain is immeasurable
Greatest mindfuck in the history of mankind. Lost over 1k "Want to Read" titles just like that. I'm never going to forget this or get over it. It's like my rectum just prolapsed and I can't go to the hospital to get it fixed bc I'm an illegal like this damn site.

If you want to recover some work check your browser history + comments left + popular manhwas + lists
My browser history alone recovered ~300 titles
But it'll only go up to 3 months for most browsers

no bc literally. and idek what’s going on bc half the ppl are saying they’ll eventually recover then and the other half says they’re gone forever??? honestly what pisses me off the most is losing all of my new chapter alerts like it’s so sad i genuinely don’t know what i’m missing
That information is from before we had knowledge that the disk containing lists crashed. Those people mean well, but it is still outdated information. The reason why they were saying that is because this has happened before. They were able to recover all lists in past years though.
However, they lost data after the disk crashed around beginning of February. I'm unsure if it was a hardware issue or issue but either way, the data is gone.
Notifications are also seemingly having issues whether or not the works are in your list, but this may be old information. I'm not sure what state of site recovery we're at as of present.
I do wish we had an official statement, but it seems the team is busy, especially with all the new users from THAT site. Some others and I have been discussing and compiling information to try make sense of the situation. Heck, Suujin, who made the original FAQ, said they wrote it based on mainly their opinion as someone with computer knowledge + losts of reasearch + past experiences with crashes on the site.
