Story is adorable but the pacing is horrendous. No build-up, or let's say the build-up was generally lacking. The story is good for a light read on a tiring afternoon but not for serious engagement.

I pretend I do not see Ai and A's relationship, La la la la la la la Nope, nah, naur, zip nada zilch~~~

Kookiechidna created a topic of Whose Baby is it?

Going to ignore the incest and focus on the other relationships but damn I'm honestly impressed with the marketing strategies on how to manipulate propaganda in this manhua

Author could've handled that with more finesse just like how they've been doing it from the past chapters and this is just disappointing but not drop worthy knowing it'll get better, my only will is that it gets better and doesn't get toxic, Alexis has had the ability to reign his unhinged thoughts so far so I'm going to hope it can work.

I just do hope it works, I have been liking the experience so far let's hope that this doesn't become a "What if it's us" By Silvera and Albertali situation where a very much avoidable circumstance that's not even plot relevant ruined the whole story experience (and yes I'm throwing shade at that horrid book and I don't listen to opinions)

I was already annoyed before with my initial review but honestly now all of the characters are becoming flat as hell and the direction of the story doesn't seem to actually be cohesive and just adding random shit here and there, I was hoping actually hoping for a more interesting and rounded characters
(I know it's just basically starting but the start was more interesting to whatever tomfoolery this is) and a more cohesive arc but it's just all over the place at this point and Maythan's just acting like a fool. Maybe I'll try again in the future but this at the moment just raises my blood pressure.

I expected this to be a bit different since the first few chapters were intriguing but it just fell short.

Kookiechidna created a topic of Thirty Years Old

Too many plot holes honestly, the start was adorable and I was liking it even though the conflict and resolution is all over the place, even the story itself was mediocre but endearingly so, however, there are so many unaddressed issues and plot holes for it to end like that because why add too many conflict and even an independent pov from the ex if the author won't expand more on it? It just felt rushed towards the end that it was borderline disappointing

From a political standpoint the prince's investigation does make sense especially since he's an heir, even though Maythan was at a place he didn't expect he still was at a wrong place in a wrong time and the Prince should be sceptical because the safety of his people are under question, is it wrong? From a personal level, yes. But as an heir he has to uphold his role for the sake of his people. One person's feeling does not matter for the sake of the whole nation e.g. utilitarianism and honestly for someone with a pragmatic disposition throughout the current chapters Maythan would've somehow understood it but it was framed to be insignificant and shallowed down because of "yaoi world magic making characters go dumb" instead of tackling it with more complexity for my liking. I'm not saying Maythan doesn't have a right to be angry but what I'm saying is that complicated situations require more work for the characters to feel more dynamic instead of making their core personality as "UwU I love you, I'm sorry I made a necessary action don't be mad

Kookiechidna created a topic of Half of Me

Honestly I hate idiotic MC because they make decisions with pretty bad secondhand embarrassment and usually the plot revolves around their mistake which can actually be easily avoided of they learn to think for once without jumping the gun but this one is a fun read just for keeping the stress of uni at bay.

First few chapters were icky and coercive but the progression was amazing

Kookiechidna created a topic of Hello to Happiness

Honestly Hozumi is a selfish and obsessive POS who acts like a freaking child and honestly this Manga is just disappointing, after saying no so many times he just won't stop wtf

Kookiechidna created a topic of Monochrome Rumor

it would do everyone good to understand that stories expand the conflict in the middle to nigh impossible lengths only to slowly taper it back to a linear point. That's why there are plot holes, it lacks flavor and even it lacks conflict because it's not finished oml did any of you listen to your literary teachers about story structures??? A bunch of kids I'm telling you.

As my title implies but i won't say anything further, hm... Plot-wise it's still incomplete so I'll withhold my judgement, it was a fun and light read doesn't really get that significantly heavy so it's a good breathe of fresh air from the problematic BL tropes, the MCs character design is feminine and usually I'd have a problem with that but I'm referencing the earlier pages as the design choice was an allusion to gender presentation and it is actually great because it addresses one of the major concern that people cannot understand is that regardless of Gender Presentation i.e. fashion, style, body, and act does not really make up what the Gender of that individual is and is only defined by the person and I applaud the author for that. I also applaud how this is the only work that I've read that has done a healthy representation of Polyamory and one of the few BLs that does Relationship in a manner that addresses accountability, reassurance and trust. Overall it's been a great journey and I liked it, is the plot perfect? Well, it's no Dostoevsky but it's different and that's what makes it great.
