I'm not really a gigantic Kaiju fan but this manga activates something in my lizard brain, it's so cool.
I really loved the authors other manga, so I hope this blows up so they get more exposure.

The philosophy of it is fine, it's just that the actual plan itself is very vague, which isn't good considering how unnattainable it is without a proper strategy. It'll probably be more fleshed out next chapter though so I'm basically nitpicking right now.
The other three oneshots in this anthology didn't get included but holy shit what the fuck was ch 7 lmao. I really liked ch 3 but ch 7 has got to be my fav because of how fucking strange it is
The characters are sooo pretty! There's only 4 chapters so I hope that it isn't rushed or anything, it's a cool setting.
Anywayss, I assume that the town is involved in a cult? The summary says that his childhood memories are a bit hazy so I'm guessing that he might've died judging by the scar on his neck, and the town used their gods power to revive him, thus tying him to the town. Maybe the pills he takes are what's ruining his memories? He's presumably living with the town's doctor so I guess he makes him take the pills everyday (or maybe theyre just sleeping pills he takes out of his own free will). Excited for more!

The author also made this cute extra for the anime where Marcille and Falin watch a theatre adaptation of Marcille's favourite book series. I don't think that's been tled as of yet though.

Sara seems a bit worryingly eager to die. I initially thought that Natalie was the one with suicidal inclinations but Sara definitely isn't holding on for dear life either. She did convince herself it was for the kingdom, but I don't believe that's the main reason.
Either way, I see her willingness for martyrdom being a major conflict later in the series. The translator mentions the original pixiv work was heavy on the edge and angst, so I don't see this going well for her.
Has anyone else see the new Daydream Hour leaks? It's basically an expansion of character interactions and a few what-if scenarios, but there is some new stuff. Allegedly Chilchucks wife is shown and
she's not blonde. She looks a lot like her children though.
