I understand people can be uncomfortable with the uploader's header, can find it disgusting - you don't have to like it, it can be not your thing at all. But STOP CALLING THIS CH*LD P*RN!!! This is a gross, gross exaggeration, those worlds should NOT be used lightly. You are literally comparing the abuse and suffering of living, breathing, REAL ch*ldren to A DRAWING. Deku isn't real. He's not a real ch*ld. He's not suffering. He's not hurting. He's a FICTIONAL character from a comic, someone who doesn't exist. It's a bunch of PIXELS.
You CANNOT compare a fan art of a fictional manga character to real people being abused.
Think about the implications of your words before you say them. Those are not words you can just throw around however it pleases you. It's a serious matter. And if you don't see the difference between actual ch*ld p*rn and fan art of fictional characters, then frankly I don't know what to say to you. Please, rethink your morals and your outlook on life.
Again, I understand if you find this disgusting or gross - but the uploader doesn't have to take shit from you or listen to your discontent. If this is a triggering image for you, then of course you shouldn't put up with this, but it's on you to cater your online experience. Do not read the chapters here. Go to a different website, hell, maybe buy the chapters from the official source, have you thought about that?
Whatever you do, please, please stop lightly throwing very heavy words around.
I'm reading comments today so you might see a couple of replies from me. Your comment is interesting. Can I ask you then, if "Art immates life", is that absolute? Manga/Manhwa is art. Does that mean the author(s) of stories where there are heavy tones like romanticisation of topics like rape, cheating, murder, abduction, manipulation, psychological torture, stockholm syndrome, toxic obsession/ possessiveness or any "red flag" behavior indicate who the author(s) are irl? Does their art portray, unquestionably, a literal representation of how they feel, how they act, their behavior or what they support irl?
Let me make myself clear, if the same themes, plots, or tropes are repeated in an author’s work then imma start to side eye that author. Hence the “Art imitates life” comment. Same for people who condone these tropes. Reading doesn’t mean I condone…. I’m caution with what I read and I will usually drop anything I feel disturb my spirit.
- @zhanshii wrote a great response to one of your comments above. Please read it and rethink your actions. I am pleased that you are uploading these webtoons free for us to read but please listen to some of the commenters and replace the image of Deku. Thanks very much .
Your response to "those" themes/tropes is just your own opinion. It does not reflect any creator's motive just because you say so. If you're gonna "side eye" anoyone that dosen't agree with your opinion on a fictious work (because you've seen repitition on the subject) dosen't make you right & them wrong. If your moral compass/ spirit is disturbed by something YOU deem immoral in fiction does not make it universally wrong. My MHA banners are of an 18yr old with a 22yr old. If Deku's baby face (cannon) bothers you, that's on you and everyone else who don't believe that character's can age while retaining their youthful looks.
Deku was never 18 and that adult was never 22. I'm not making this up. They are never those ages in the manga or the anime.
There's a time skip and deku is 20 something, I think 24, but that's well after the adult dies. The adult dies when he's 21 and deku is 17. The majority of their interactions is when deku is 16.
Icarus lying because they're a pedophile. Icarus is sexually excited by the image of an adult raping a child. Icarus is a bad person and a pedophile. They are deliberately exposing innocent people to what they know is child porn because it's sexually excites them.
???…uhh I did say I was reading comments today…that’s why I’m commenting on certain replies. And I thought you had an interesting reply and wanted to see why you’d say something like that but I was wrong. You’re also someone who jumps on the bandwagon regardless of what is true or not. (Sigh) we’ll also have to agree to disagree and leave it at that. Happy reading!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates this bullshit.
These pedophile apologists are almost more frustrated than the actual pedophile IMO. Of course the pedophile Icarus is going to lie to try to defend themselves. We expect that. I don't expect people like OP pretending like what they're doing isn't pedophilia.
Animated porn is porn. You wouldn't let your 6-year-old watch hentai because you recognize that it is porn, even though it's animated.
So if animated porn is porn, then why isn't animated porn depicting a child being raped by an adult also porn? Would you let your 6-year-old watch an animated child being raped by an adult because you don't consider it to be porn?
Of course not. Of course it's porn. And it's porn featuring a child which makes it child porn. The fact that porn has children in it doesn't make it not porn! Regardless of whether it's live action or animated it's still porn and we all recognize that... So how is it magically not child porn?
But these disgusting degenerate pieces of garbage try to pretend like it's somehow technically not child porn because they don't want their access to it removed.
Maybe I'm going to get some heat for saying this, but for me, the brother was turned into an unnecessary villain. There were already so many antagonists, why did the author have to turn him into such a despicable person T-T
I can't bring myself to hate him, his storyline was actually quite tragic imo, so in the end I feel more sorry for him than anything.
The way Soongap hated him right off the bat from their very reunion was just unnecessary added drama imo, and it was never explained why he despised him so much. Like, the brother genuinely did not do anything to him at the beginning, just wanted to spend time with him, reconnect, and make his life easier. The whole antagonism towards him felt very very forced, smh
iirc it was mentioned that Soongap had a bit of dislike towards his brother since he was favoured by their father.
Dont feel bad abt him, what he did to Soongap was literally incest and rape, not only that, the medicine he gave to Soongap for Soongap's lover literally killed him so like yea lets not defend this guy as if he didn't do anything .
Half agree with u here, he's obviously meant to be a really conflicted character and there's so many times where his inner thoughts and backstory so people empathise w him. I feel like the final 10 chapters just went crazy w his character. He went from obsessive (still weird) but still in an sympathetic way to completely undefendable. Ig the author had to make sure that he could be disposed off for a happy ending without too many complaints. I feel like it's a shame bc his storyline was the most interesting aspect to me.
The aspect of Soongap hating him right from the start is very true asw, I was abt halfway through reading when I suddenly tried to remember why Soongap was so uncomfortable around him in the first place and I couldn't remember anything and felt like an idiot.
I don't understand why Soongap hates his brother so much at the beginning of the story. Like, I know the brother turned horrible as the story progressed, but even before that, Soongap just constantly rejects him and barely acknowledges him and basically treats him like the worst of all evils, while the brother initially truly just wanted to reconnect with and care for the only person who ever showed him affection and who's still alive. I just don't understand.
**Spoilers Ahead**
I read it as Soongap was reminded of his past by seeing his brother. Like it reminded Soongap of his crappy childhood (his dad's cold treatment, his mom's death, etc.) and eventually the traumatic way he was forced to leave his home to become a slave.
IDK it kind of felt like his brother was a reminder of what he could have had and what was taken from him. So Soongap didn't want to be reminded I guess?
If you people bothered to read the author's notes you would know that the author has 3 seasons planned. Instead everyone is whining about how it's the end and this shit is ass.
(I mean, I'm disappointed too lol. Where is my groveling apology from the top? The atonement and character growth? Hello??? Still hoping though, like a fool, that it'll come.)
I rarely comment if I have something negative to say, but I just can't help myself here.
The top is trash. There. I said it. He's a manipulative, conniving, scheming little shit.
Now, I reaaally enjoy myself some possessive and obsessive top, they can be a walking red flag and I'll go for it and like the read. But here it just rubbed me the wrong way, the way he used his own brother, the way he manipulated the MC and basically made an idiot of him THE WHOLE DAMN TIME. Like, there was not a moment of sincerity or redemption, and really, I don't need much, a small redemption moment that shows true love and true sincerity is all I need to like a red flag top - because it shows character depth and some character growth. Here, the top was just so one-dimentional, he kept scheming while repeating it was all to make the MC like him. Bruh.
And same for the MC, like, it's repeated numerous times he likes the top because he did everything he could to win his heart??? So you don't actually like him, you just like the fact he's obsessed with you.
Anyway, like I said, I DO LIKE WALKING RED FLAG TOPS, wether they be manipulative or possessive and yada yada, but it was just so... Poorly executed here.
It's a shame, because it had potential.
I'm not sure if I missed something in this story, but I feel like Sehyuk isn't in love with the MC? Like, he definitely wants to possess him very much, but it's not love, I feel like he doesn't care about him or his feelings, etc.
Am I the only one who feels this way T-T
In the side stories, we see his reasoning that his feelings aren’t pure or of the nature of normalcy that Hamin previously stated (in the early chapters) he desperately wanted and struggled for. He saw his desire to “have” as heavy and not something he would profess to Hamin who he believes to reject that absurdity..
So I think it’s a bit both.. he loves so much to have him and he has to have him because he desires and wants him..
Also when they were kids we see that Hamin bubbly personality brought him respite from the orphanage and even at the season finale he threw a tantrum because Hamin took a stabbing for him
It's not love obviously, it's obsession. It's the only way a sociopath can 'love'. People often seem to forget that he IS a murderer, someone with extremely low empathy. He cares about Hamin in his own way, a way which doesn't fit with our definition of love which is connected to our ability to empathize.
He is in love but on his own way which is brutal, possessive and manipulative. After all he has gone through in life it's a wonder how he is not just on pair with the other shitty characters of the story but still has a grain of decency in dealing with the MC. And somehow the reason and answer for this is a somewhat roundabout way of "love" for the MC. Everything that has pushed him in his life was to be able to stand besides MC despite him being trash both as a human as well as socially. Let's never forget that MC comes from a criminal family as well, so in order to "get him" he has no choice given his extraction but to conquer the upper ranks so that he can reclaim MC as his as well as to be able to protect him. It's truly a bittersweet love story, but the only story you can have in that kind of environment. It does make kinda sense when you think about it but I don't know if I managed to explain it properly.

Jung Bin the man that you areeeeeee I love how he wants to protect our MC, my heart is absolutely melting
