The uke doesn’t need to flat out tell the seme he loved him back but as a reader, I never got the feeling that he liked him back at all, let alone love. All he asked was if the seme was okay with taking a chance with him…it felt like a summer fling and then became a yearly fling

I know. The author could’ve saved both characters but no, we got a doormat character who chases after a man who disrespected his sister by sleeping with her little brother and another character who won’t take responsibility for his actions. His wife died yet he blamed an innocent child and now he’s done all this to that child and still runs away. Silon is actually pathetic.
I agree with every thing it’s so infuriating I hate when characters have no self respect
