The crown prince knowing all that tormented him alongside painting him the Villain and even saying he is his 'Brother' and more. As if the emperor wasn't enough tried to kill Rubel many times too (both the prince and emperor). Rubel's mother was known to commit sucide (Well from what I remember) but it may be murder which is unfolding now. And i forgot how his father died. But until the end his father claimed that Rubel was his son. He loved his parents and was loved by them that's why he wanted revenge and when he fell for Eve he even thought of forsaking revenge for her sake. But she wanted to get revenge for him together. That's all I remember hope it helps
