Dawg younger me was so dumb. I believed every good rec I ever got on tik tok esp bc my fave creators were promoting stuff. Esp this series , I read it and then was in awe at how much rape there was 14/15 yr old me did not need to be subjected to this shit. I liked the anime and thought it was cute but i grew out of that phase. It’s even more ironic bc that other big character tried raping takato (which is fucking wrong) and the series made it wrong,, yet junta constantly grapes him but it’s okay? Make it make sense :.. I wish younger me never had the misfortunate of getting onto bl tik tok when I was younger cuz all the recs I got were super unhealthy stories with rape. And I liked a few of them forever ago too :( still embarrassed about it, but now that I’m older I can tell how bad and wrong those stories were

Idk what it is about this manga but I read it randomly at one point during 2023, I forgot if I saw it recommended on tik tok or just came across it here on mangago but I ended up loving it! Candy color paradox does have some common bl tropes but I think it’s cute , plus I really like their relationship dynamic , kaburagi being super chill and onoe bein the complete opposite ofc! Opposites attracts + rivals to lovers are both great tropes (albeit the rivalry is more one sided bc kaburagi didn’t really view onoe as a rival lmao). Anyway I reread the story like 2 or 3 times on here til I realized I could just buy the manga volumes, so I did just that! I do not regret it, actually I really recommend buying the volumes as it supports the author and you can read the whole thing in official English translation (cuz it was a lot more clear than reading on here tbh ) plus seeing all the art n side stories in the manga volumes r nice ! And just having a full manga set gives me satisfaction (only have a silent voice, bloom into you, and candy color paradox completely collected tho).

I was so hyped while reading this story as it came out and then it just ended (⊙…⊙ ). Not saying it was bad but bro I felt so edged (weird wording sorry) but I wanted more content tbh. Would’ve been really fun to see them interact more as a couple. Still pretty good tho

Bro all the characters in these diff manhwas r so lucky bc yea it’s not too hard to make online friends in games, but how do they always manage to live like right by each other wtf (￣∇￣").(mainly talking about the couples cuz this story reminds me of my darling signed in and uhhh that other story I forgot the name of , also netkama punch sorta but heejae had to get his house location to find him so) Ive made a fair share of online friends but obviously they’ve been from all over the world lol, I guess its bc its fiction? I wonder if anybody irl has been that lucky tho

The newest chapter was so adorable cirrus being so clingy was so cuteeee I love him!! Lmao skylar being annoyed at him was so deserved tho. As a glasses wearer if you screwed up my glasses I’d be annoyed too . Also I’m kinda nervous though bc it highlighted how cirrus is clearly anxious to talk to Chan il after he witnessed what happened before.. he’s somewhat avoiding him and his other friends but prob next chap or the one after that they’ll finally talk it out. Hope it goes well. I’m also anxious bc Chan il probably saw all the pictures in skylar’s camera by now, him talking to skylar abt that is def gonna be awkward af.

I hope for peace this season but knowing what story it is.: shit is def gonna go down again at some point , all I hope for is that Skyrus stays together and stays happy by the series finale! Also I hope to see more ri in this season , she’s such a girlboss

Honestly I was always curious why heejae had those weird ass expressions for a few seconds throughout the first part (in seyoung’s pov) but I guess this explains it . Bro is so delusional.. trying to get back at him for something that doesn’t even make sense tbh.. it’s even funnier to me bc clearly as the story progresses it’s showing that heejae is actually falling in love with him all over again and is prob gonna abandon his evil idea, but Ig we’ll see !!!
I do feel for heejae a bit because he obviously has abandonment + attachment issues but lord he needs to take a chill pill, seyoung was right in saying there’s smth wrong with him (still love heejae tho)

Bro blue flag is such an amazing manga and I pray that one day it gets an anime. This type of manga getting an animation would be revolutionary imo. It has such amazing themes and it focuses on growing up and the pains you get in your youth, as well as the happy stuff too. It annoys me when ppl categorize it as a bl because that just tells me you missed the point. Yes touma is gay and yes him and taichi end up together far into the future but the story isn’t about that.. this story is about their youth. That’s the whole point. That’s why I sorta get the ppl who are upset at the ending not showing much but the story isn’t abt the future so. I love just how much it emphasizes things change and you won’t be the same person you were when you were a kid, because them two ending up together clearly showed touma retained his feelings for taichi, but taichi had to of changed quite a bit and realized things about himself to come to this conclusion.

Sorry this is turning into a yap fast but blue flag was such an amazing read.
Masumi’s character still breaks my heart because she had such heavy lesbian coding and she ended up with a man who was the same as Futuba, that’s also realistic in its own way. Not every queer person is able to confess to the people they love

I loved this manga so much so I’m super happy it’s finally gotten an anime, the first two episodes have been super good !!!! (⌒▽⌒) I’m glad they decided to choose a sweet bl to adapt instead of another weird story (like super lovers or some shit)!! My only grievance is the fact they continued the trope of the Fujoshi inside the story.. (it’s just weird to me I’m sorry)..however, I hope they continue this train and adapt more cute bls I love (my love mix up, our dining table, I hear the sunspot ++ a lot more). What I hope for even more tho is more gl adaptations :( more gl has slowly been getting made but I need more gl anime (that’s not weird )

I used to be way too obsessed with this story back in 2020 cause I really liked the main couple however looking back on it now it’s way more mediocre than I thought , I like how they touched on some issues but both of the side couples ??! They were terrible.. I think it was a terrible decision to put the poor archery guy with the same man who caused him all his trauma.. and the childhood friends weren’t that good of a pairing bc of how badly the one guy treated the other later on. I fully believe blue haired archery dude should’ve gotten with the red haired dude who crushed on him, he was actually sweet . Now I still like the main couple but yuri was very over dramatic in the latter half of the story, and the fact he made jaerim’s rape abt himself and was all selfish about it??? That was literally insane .. I fully believe that plot line should’ve been left out as it wasn’t taken seriously enough and it was treated like it was just a simple thing. That was bad writing. I am glad at least that yuri went back for him but he was still selfish for just leaving him there at first. So anyway, it’s not the worst story ever but it’s prob a solid 6/10.

I love reading series with actual good romance, but it reminds me of one thing everytime.. how lonely I am damn ╥﹏╥ I want a relationship so baddd (waiting to meet the perfect person/girl irl)
