So this last chapter was the series finale as in...no more chapters? Didn't the uke have an abusive high school boyfriend back when he was chubby whose face we never saw and half the commenters were convinced was actually the seme? I thought for sure we were going to meet him here. Also, did we in fact learn where the company name came from in an earlier chapter because the seme never addresses it here?

Yahwi is so endgame! I mean it's obvious. All you Cain stans are delusional! Haven't you ever read a BL manga?...Oh no Yahwi just got dumped. Is it really over between them? Is he really going to end up with Cain now?...Haha, Cain is definitely endgame! JUST LOOK AT THE FREAKING RING! IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED. Accept the facts Yahwi fans! Jooin already told Yahwi he didn't love him anymore - wait, what - Cain got dumped too!? And Jooin just admitted he never loved him. But that can't be...Is he going to end up with with that toxic POS Yahwi now!? NOOOOOOO!

anon235 January 11, 2024 7:17 pm

I read both chapters 97 & 98 and now we can say Cain has his closure just like Yahwi. Of course Yahwi fans aren’t going #Yahwiendgame because at this point the author is playing games with both sides. I could say these chapters finally confirmed what Yahwi fans and some readers had been saying about Cain and Jooin’s relationship all along. That Cain was too stuck on the past, that Jooin went along with his feelings, and that he never really knew Cain. I’m not saying this to gloat but as a writer I’m glad the author finally addressed the developmental holes.

It would’ve been too cheap for the ring to signify they are endgame, although I’m sure some Yahwi fans will now argue the fresh absence of the leash in the title logo (the heart remains and is apparently meant to signify Yahwi) means Yahwi is now endgame, and Cain is out of the picture. The author seems to be intentionally doing things to throw us off so the endgame couple isn’t clear. The way I see it Jooin can now choose to get back together with Yahwi or give Cain a chance after a time skip, when all three of them are finally healthy. I do feel like Cain would forever see Jooin as his master, which is why I don’t think they can work, but who knows what will happen in the future.

Okay I kept seeing people claiming Cain and Jooin are endgame here, which hyped me up, until I read the actual chapter...I'm guessing that the primary basis for this whole endgame business is mostly because Cain gave him a ring with 'Yours to Claim' inscribed in it...Which I'll admit is fair because it's the manga title. But honestly guys, it sounds like Jooin is about to dump Cain and tell him to let him go and find another reason for existing. Because why would he jump into another relationship after his whole spiel about how he was tired of not being the master of his own emotions? And Jooin also mentions wanting to conclude this story properly, as he seems to feel Cain can't live in the present if he's too stuck in the past. I'm sure there will probably be a timeskip following that where things will be resolved.

That said, Jooin can still choose Cain in the end, and I'm sure Yahwi fans will be upset because the story began with Yahwi and we saw all the highs and lows of their relationship and they can *argue* that we didn't get to see that really with Cain and Jooin's...At the same time, Jooin can also still choose Yahwi, and I'm sure Cain fans will be upset because in that case, what was the point of that ring with the freaking manhwa title in it???

In any case I feel like both Cain and Yahwi shippers all got baited in a way, which is why I'm kind of over this manga. For all we know, this could've been Cain's story all along, or he might be narrating it from his deathbed and Jooin gets with Yahwi after spending a couple happy years with Cain, or the ring might have just been a clever play on the title and Jooin is shown 'claiming' Yahwi in the end. Anyway, I don't really want another debate on which relationship is better or more real or how some of us are in denial based on the evidence...I'm just tired of this manga at this point. Lol.

    Akirajhay012 January 4, 2024 11:38 pm

Yeahh, Cain arriving in the story is so good to be truth like he's giving himself and at the same time he wants Jooin to choose him. I don't know

    GODZILLA January 5, 2024 4:32 am

Of course we got baited in someway it's love triangle and as a love triangle the author did a splendid job at making us go oh yahwi endgame, wait no Cain is endgame, Wait no it's, and etc. Honestly the first few author who know how do a love triangle with making it obvious.

Also you should read around Cain stans on twt. They ARE saying Jooin does want to conclude their relationship but in the process of reaching Cain, he might realize he wants to continue their relationship. Because at the end of the chapter Jooin still said he'll be waiting for Cain as it's his turn to wait. Honestly this chapter actually drops that Cain is definitely endgame if you paid attention to Cains actions and what revolves Jooin and Cain with their past life, it makes sense.

I sincerely hope it's Yahwi and Jooin at the end though I see a lot of comments saying Jooin effectively ended any hopes of a relationship in the last chapter...But come on, Cain used to be Jooin's pet in his past life and that's just weird!!! We saw the most development from Yahwi and Jooin's relationship, including Jooin's feelings. Cain was the weird, convenient stranger who followed him to Korea and kind of forced himself into his life. Jooin wasn't in love with Cain - he was a shoulder to cry on. I personally would consider it a copout if they were endgame, probably because I wasn't as invested in their relationship...My heart broke for Yahwi in this chapter (Cain already found his master in his current life, that should be enough!!!) Honestly, I get that people are tired of the toxic seme trope, but I do wish the author had just introduced a normal guy who was not reincarnated and organically grew to love Jooin if she wanted us to see the second guy as a serious option.

Also, if the author decides NOT to follow yaoi story tropes and have Jooin end up with the second guy who came later, then I hope Yahwi finds someone else to love him.

    HereWeScreamSilently December 16, 2023 9:26 am

The only one who was ever forceful was Yahwi. Yes he had a little bit of a character development but it's clear as day it was too late, Jooin explained perfectly why in the last two chapters. They can't become a couple because Jooin's love turned into just compassion and even Yahwi decided to give up.
Cain is not weird but Yahwi stans just loved to badmouth him 24/7 when he was the only one who made Jooin laugh and supported him throughout the entire story. It was Jooin's wish for Cain to become a human in his next life, so here we are now. They're reunited as humans and they both have feelings for each other. It's best to let go now buddie..

I'm sorry but even if people argue that Cain is better because he's non-toxic, his whole origin story is that he came to find Jooin because he was his dog in his past life...which let's face it, is super weird. Also doesn't sound like an entirely healthy, equal relationship either if he was willing to cut off his entire family just for Jooin who didn't even know him.

    GODZILLA December 16, 2023 6:16 am

He didn't come to find Jooin becaus eof his past. He had no idea what he was remembering was real until he met Jooin. Him meeting Jooin was just coincidence. The author confirm it themselves via twt. I agree with the last part. That's why Jooin wanted Cain to go back, Jooin thought it was too much for Cain cut off his family just for him

    Appu December 16, 2023 6:22 am

true, hes not some stalker who tracked jooin down, he probably jhst was inspired by his dream and went to korea and he happened to meet jooin on accident, making it literally like destiny, which is sweet imo.

all the feelings of it came later when he really got to know jooin, you van see the whole process lol.
at first hes kind of impressed by the whole thing maybe being true and wants to befriend the guy
then he sees how swlfless and kind he is and as they spend more time together hes starting to develop real feelings.
so that is when he starts pursuing jooin romantically, things happen and by then ye probably spent a little too muct time in korea and hets called back to the states

and supposedly thats when he tells his family about the whole oast life thing being true and how he found his person etc etc

yall know the rest. just because he didnt emotionally tormented jooiin it doesnt mean his feelings can't be complex and genuine

I am confused about this brother that came out of the blue. Did he also have a brother closer in age who died in the car? And the brother is his actual brother right, not his cousin that he lived with?

    Kall December 9, 2023 1:01 am

No, it was mentioned before that his grandpa? Or grandma? Cant remember, took this brother instead of MC, and MC kept questioning why he was left alone and his brother was taken by the grandparent

So the brother in the car is the same brother we meet in the latest chapter? In his dream in chapter 77, he said when he opened his eyes, he was the only one alive...maybe that was just part of his "dream" and his brother survived?
