This chapter was posted days ago...I keep seeing this happen in other manga too...Are people that pissed someone keeps uploading over them that they feel this is necessary??? I get that you feel it's rude but why not just keep that chapter up with a warning for next time? I've seen people reupload the same chapter 4 times (other manga) since Mangago introduced this upload button!
I see in this chapter, he says he won't break them up...But I saw the raws and it looked like he wanted to have some kind of relationship with the uke (a friendship) and I see they do meet up again. Although I don't know why the uke would even agree to that, I'm just not sure what the Seowoo is hoping for...Does he want to control him, or does he genuinely miss his friendship? Is he hoping they'll eventually get back together? Because if he just wants a friend, contacting his family is not the way to go about it...
I'm confused Yoon is now saying Vasya's not gay considering at the start he had to lie to him about not being gay bc he knew Vasya wanted to sleep with him...
Well that part is confusing because now Yoon is saying that since Vasya wants to sleep with/date him it does indeed make him gay whereas before he said it didn't. What's not confusing is that Yoon is right in this one specific instance, since Vasya is not gay just because it so happens the person he likes is a guy. If the guy he liked just so happened to be Yoon then yes he'd be gay. I have stated before I'd find it highly insulting if I was told I'm no longer asexual/aro just because I liked another person and had sex with them. Being asexual has nothing to do with that, after all.
Maybe I’ve been reading too much yaoi but that was what I felt it was hinting at….
yea, i felt the same since Issou and Tengoku were super "domestic" in the grocery store (Tatara even thought that "best friends" didn't fit them as they were being in his words "so lovey-dovey"). Also that look, pause, and they totally overly played response screams they just playing with Tatara.
Also if we look at this with yaoi-tinted glasses, Tengoku suddenly appearing (slightly menacingly) when Tatara and Issou shake hands was like a jealous bf interrupting the fun. The banter about the tongue piercing was weird to me because Issou says he only did it because he didn't want Tengoku to be upset (or something like). And then the above reaction to Tatara's comment on how close they are. Even if it will never be brought up again in the story, I glad they included a relationship between to male dancers that could very well be a MLM romance (and that we have more than that famous dancer as an LGBTQ+ chara cuz he was a hard pill to swallow)
So in the novel, does Arthur also give Tess hope that they can date when older? Honestly, even if we all know what the endgame is, I don't think there should even be hints of feelings between them at this stage, which I kinda got from this last chapter. It's too pedo. I've heard some people say Tess becomes worse as it goes on so should I take this literally (does her behavior change or become worse?)
Yeah he does, but you got a minimum of five years before he decides to pursue her, and a lot of shit happens around Tess that hinders her development. If you want even more spoilers than that, I need a confirmation coz a) it gets complicated and b) it’s a hella big spoiler I wanted to drop to explain
So Arthur, or as I like to call him Grey (coz it’s important later on), reincarnated as stated in the novel at 28. So definitely an adult, but definitely an adult who easily avoided anything and everything to do with his emotional development, haha. But yeah, “Arthur” is 17 when he returns Tess’s feelings, but remember, she’s a year older than him so she’s 18 physically. But, as I remember it, Arthur actually spends two or more years in a “soul” training simulation with the Asuras, making him even older mentally. BUT! The reason I’m okay with Arthur choosing to pursue her at that point is because in his past life, he had to kill one of his best friends in order to become king. The only real problem with that is that she begged him to, so that he could survive. It is when he kills her (Cecilia) that his other bestie Nico (who was in love with Cecilia and it was reciprocated) drift apart, and stay apart for the rest of their lives. Nico wanted to show Grey that the system that drew them apart originally was corrupt, but Grey was so focused on fighting that he didn’t make enough time for them. Had he, he would’ve discovered that his mentor was affiliated with the people who tried to kidnap Cecilia previously, as they were going to use her as a puppet because of her massive ki pool. This is why she begs Grey to kill her- because it’s the only way she’ll ever escape. However, this was unbeknownst to Nico, and his resentment grows for Grey in the years they’re apart. Grey was an orphan, and never allowed anyone deeply inside of his life except for those two kids. From my perspective, he stopped growing as a person after that and only continued growing as a machine. Additionally, Grey is Arthur now. He has a fresh start at life, and a family who he can call his own and love. Why are we going to hate on him for being mentally old when his heart is still young? I believe he deserves this second chance at life and at love (as Grey also liked Cecilia but he killed his feelings for her / lost interest because of Nico’s obvious interest). Also, external point, but in the new manga See You in My 19th Life, SHE HAS HAD LITERALLY NINETEEN LIVES YALL?!?! AND NOBODY HATES ON HER AND HER LOVE INTEREST??? And yet peeps are calling Arthur a pedo. We also have to consider the fact that just because mentally he’s in a certain place, his body is not, and his body is still going to produce crazy hormones throughout his adolescent years- which is a huge factor in development for children. So. Yeah.
Oh wow. Didn’t know original Arthur died at 28 (thought he died an old man). Also cannot imagine him having feelings for ANYONE so big surprise there. When he questioned why he wasn’t sexually attracted to any of the adult women in an earlier chapter I thought he might’ve had a few romances in his past life though.
Just curious if the ex (the guy he was with for 7 years) ever shows up again.
He is very, very dead, that's why he's raising the daughter. You find that out in chapters 8 and 9.
The guy the mc was dating for 7 years, not the birth father
They kinda did in chapter 5 right? It's not explicitly stated that it was the ex though but i'd like to think that the guy he read about was really his ex
I wondered about that but then the guy goes on to say he bet his ex got tired of him and fell in love with someone else which implies it isn’t that guy in the pic.
Yes the guy in the picture was his ex. They said the 'ex' got back with his wife after 7 years (he was with MC for 7 years too) but the child in the picture was only 2, so basically he slept with his ex-wife while he was dating MC and they got back together and he left MC. His friends saying that they bet the ex got tired of him and fell for someone else was a way of them trying to comfort him, which was dumb because he obviously knows his exes face very well, and the douche obviously cheated on him
It was the MC who said maybe the ex got tired of him and fell in love with someone else.
Ah yes you're correct, the friends were saying it mightve just been an uncanny resemblance to his ex. Either way the ex cheated on him with his ex-wife 2-3 years before and she had a baby, and he went back to his wife.
Well maybe the translation was off or something because the "maybe" makes it sound like he's questioning the possibilities.
I think he was just trying to make it hurt less by giving alternative possibilities, cause knowing that your lover of 7 years cheated on you with his ex wife, had a child with her, and then ended up leaving you for her without you even knowing would've been agonising.
