i was always intrigued with the mugo plot since the beginning and this takes the cake it’s morally complex and so interesting this whole mugo backstory has been the most interesting part to me in this whole series i loved the world building, now all i question is where did these other mugo variants come from if muhan is the original guy
who approved this genuinely? it had to go through someone to even have the first chapter posted was everyone on jaxx team seriously on board with this??? it’s tone deaf and disrespectful it ignores so much serious and important American history, boiling it down to the “passionate worker/slave” and the “war torn veteran” like what??? any ounce of knowledge abt the history of slavery in america is enough to see the problem with this, stay out of american history dear jaxx pls and ty
i liked this ending, the story came to a nice ending and addressed all the plot points it felt very satisfying i love love police/gang stories with actual plot and this is exactly that, interesting deep characters and good looking people
the whole middle school x 30yr old man dynamic threw me off so bad i was trying to gaslight myself just like everyone else but when he asks to go out with him that just was it for me, still finished it and it made me bawl my eyes out at 3am, it’s a good story just ruins it with the very odd dynamic
it doesn’t feel right seeing them all chummy usually when u read an ending you feel satisfied and remember how it all led up to this point, i didn’t feel that for this ending, felt rushed and the lead up was not good they had a “rocky” start but never a smooth transition into anything remotely healthy that would properly explain their lovey doveyness, it just feels like jeakyung caught feelings and kim dan is a bird with no opinions of his own who accepted them, also kim dans mental health should’ve been expanded on we saw how badly it affected him but i never felt satisfied with his recovery it was rushed as well

could not see this coming from a mile away maybe 2/3 a mile away, kim dan almost dies jk has a revelation and suddenly the only person that matters in his life is dan then wins the match bc plot ofc and then when dan wakes up they are gonna hug and live happily ever after
this so cliche angsty what year is it pls, also kim dan thinking abt the jinx STILL even in ALMOST DEATH is so disheartening is this the author trying to show that kim dan cares for jaekyung or smth???this is starting to feel like a wattpad with the plot direction rn
