Lol, just wanted to say this. I knew this would come back worse, cos they never resolved the grandpa issues in the previous season
I know people are hating on this because a “perfectly good ending” was ruined, but it can be appreciated as well. In a way, it’s refreshing to see some realistic future setting to show that not all stories end happily. It seemed that way, but in reality, people don’t get that fairytale ending and sometime shit gets even worse after marriage. Like you mentioned, the grandpa thing wasn’t resolved and this is the outcome. It feels like the author was probably trying to convey something along the lines of “unfinished business” or not “tying up loose ends”. While we thought the ending would be a happy one, theres a looming evil waiting to ruin this “perfectly good story”. Kind of like a calm before the storm type.
Though I gotta admit the timing is random lol it would make sense if this started right after the final season, but it came out years later, so maybe that’s more of why people are mad haha
I think the author took a risk and in my opinion it didn’t work. Yes not all stories have a fairytale ending but the problem with this one is that it had ended and it was a fairytale. Not only that it has over a 165 chapters it doesn’t make sense creatively or logically why the grandfather wasn’t addressed in any of the seasons before it ended.

Do you expect her to get over her self loath overnight. This isn't years off inferiority complex and self hate that you somehow expect to vanish because off the kindness she's got from few people. Lol, see she's been wired this way all her life, not to put herself first but consider the well-being of others before hers, so if you find her annoying or frustrating, trying being into her shoes as a child, if you can't conquer that because few people showed you kindness then you aren't a superhero. These things don't vanish overnight, they're there forever, now matter how much you erase it, you still get a glimpse once in awhile. So, leave paula alone
Well said!!
