I totally went into this blind only reading the title/tags and looking at the title pic and being like oof why does she look so afraid. And now after reading this, Im just hoping she escapes ya know? but knowing the tags and stuff i swear the authors gonna pull a Stockholm syndrome on us seeing how shes blushing now when arsene acts romantic and getting slightly more comfortable but shes still super scared of arsene still. I was super excited reading the title cause i got a thing for villains and people falling in love with em consensually without blackmail in manga/manhua/manhwa and stuff but this aint it for me im probably gonna drop this, but ive only been sticking around for the small chance to see if Isotta’s gonna save regina and then they become lesbian lovers and get tons of cats together. No hate on anyone that likes this though its just not my cup of tea
Im so proud of diathe’s progress shes finally able to do something she wants to instead of sitting around in agony not able to do what she dreams of. When the mc makina finds out that the knight Von is as they say “neither man not woman” makina deadass keeps calling them “she” even though Von legit said twice that they were neither. Like i get that Von said they are female (sex wise) but idk its just confusing because they go on to say that theyre neither man or woman (gender wise) because they dont have a womb…shouldnt the mc refer to them in a gender neutral sense? It just feels wrong to call them “she” ya know considering what they defined their gender as. as such imma just drop this because im honestly distraught over this and its a really slow burn
I think that would be go to the translator since this webtoon came from a different country and language so basically in the orig language they use a neutral gender word to call Von however in english there's no such thing such as neutral gender word since they typically use She or He to describe one's identity.
thank you for that i understand that, but there is actually a neutral gender word and its the singular word “they” or “them” its a pretty commonly used word though people most of the time use it without thinking about it. I’m sure its just the translators mistake but messing up on something that important to a characters identity sounds super rude to Von though. Like theyve completely misgendered von.
I'm pretty sure it's the translator also since the translator also writes 'she' for the prince a few times too. And also it's just a webtoon.
