Misunderstandings are essential for good stories. If characters always understand each other, and situations then there would be no interesting characters. And they would fall flat and become one dimensional. Especially for romances, you want the characters to have complex emotions and conflict in order to see how their love comes to be. ALSO misunderstanding create the best yearning scenes imo
This was one of the most mid chasing arcs i’ve had the displeasure of witnessing. That whole sobbing shit is lazy writing. It’s like a trend now to show the toxic top sobbing on his knees to show remorse and then the uke forgives him. It’s a good detail when done correctly but it’s just plastered at the end to show why the bottom stayed, its super lazy in my opinion
Everything about this manhwa is so good! The plot, the ml, the fl, the supporting characters. The only thing that fucks me is how the art used to be so so good and it had dimension, but now it’s just regular, it’s not bad but it was realllllly good in the beginning

the way the mc was already twinky when the story started but now he’s even twinkier is so funny, i don’t mind it either way he’s cute
He spent his entire life feeling like he wasn’t worthy enough to stand next to the girl he loves (the person he loves the most in his life), but he’s doing something that will make him have value (baseball) and he loves it, and once that’s over his dream and his worth all flew out the window and now he has to face Haneul being at the lowest of his lows and then he manages to injure her. So basically i get why he’s scared of being with her because he feels like he ruins her by being with her because he’s not worthy to be by her side. It’s actually really sad
She’s very kind, and logical but i don’t really like her design. Everyone else is pretty normal, but she falls flat to me, maybe it’s because she’s surrounded by a lot of blue clothing and background that i feel like she doesn’t stand out. Or maybe that’s the point! Like she’s ordinary but her character is eccentric and fun!
THIS IS SO UNDERRATED, THE CHARACTERS ARE SO COMPLEX, AND DETAILED I LOVE IT. Their love was beautifully written as well. It was truly such a good read, if anyone is reading this and saw the 9.0 and was unsure to read it, don’t hesitate, read it the yearning and plot are were so well done, you won’t regret it.

I hate thinking so hard about comedy media like this, but i just think about how korea is undergoing a huge population decline because women are choosing not to have kids and get married because most men over there think like the ML. So this feel like propaganda to me. Especially now in our times where women are being more objectified than ever. Studies are showing that men have more violent and oppressive thought than those they had in the 50s/60s (in the USA). I know it’s just a story and it’s for shits and gigs but ya know
