I also get bored from time to time, but at those times, I just read something out if pocket to remind myself that there is a whole side of BL that I haven't read yet. Try any BL with cannibalism, there is a good chance that you won't be complaining about BL being repetitive lol (unless you're into that kind of stuff)

I mean it depends on what type of yaoi you are reading. For me I am not a huge fluffy yaoi fan so its always something dark or fucked up or something with at least a bit of angst. Then if I feel that ah i wanna read some fluff then i start reading that. So uh best thing to do is try to read something which is probably not what you usually read. Also shonen ais have some really good and varying plot rather than yaoi. But yeah as some person suggested some bl with cannibalism and those suggestions are great as someone who has already them lol. It's something different and you might wanna try it.

Never Understand is a webtoon and not manga, His Favorite is a shounen ai manga that is very verrrrrryyyyy (!!!) cute. If you really like it, consider buying the official English translations at Sublime website, which has available 12 volumes currently https://www.sublimemanga.com/his-favorite
It's always good to support the official version if you can afford it! The translation and image quality is ofc much better than what mangago can offer. If you do buy at that website, keep in mind that the name you register your purchase through will be digitally printed on the page of most of the entire volume that you purchase, if you buy the ebook. Not sure if it's sold elsewhere like Amazon but probably? Sometimes if you can only afford to buy a few of the volumes, you can just read all of what is available here or some other site, and buy the volume/s that are not posted here (I did that with a few manga such as A Strange and Mystifying Story, False Memories, Love Stage...)

A few years back, I was so into chinese cultivation novels that I saw this recently finished translated novel, Heavens Official Blessing, without looking at the tags and gender, I pushed on reading it. And let me tell you, I was so captivated by it that I only realized that it was a Yaoi CN at the last chapter.


P.S. What made me realize that both of the MC's are male was that, after they done the deed, someone notice that the uke has something in his stomach and that it was ghost energy. I put two and two together, finally it dawned on me that it was a MxM type of novel, not BxG. ╥﹏╥
Because how could your partners semen, end up in your stomach?! Just the stomach!

I was not disgusted by it, but I had a hard time looking for a similar novel. At that time I had a hard time accepting novels that are new territory for me. It was like the forbidden area (Yaoi genre), I could go in and risk it all or I could look at the other way and forget it all.

But after a year or two, maybe months, I finally came back to read the Yaoi genre. And my first ever manhwa is Kiss me Liar. Hahahaha ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

Literally I can't enjoy reading it when they are doing it because of my curiousity. At first I thought it's all pain and there's no love, but I soon passed that thinking. Tho I never want to try, I was just so amaze that it can be possible to feel satisfied by doing that.
