Yep, it's a Boring Invincible Hero story, where the author sets up stumbling blocks and the heroine solves it in two chapters or less.

The "good" guys worship the ground she stands on, and the "bad" guys are so ineffectual you wonder why they even show up. And the "deep, mysterious figure" they've been trying to introduce to the plot as a future main character is an actual weirdo.

It's legitimately like trying to read a 4-koma, every single chapter has a punchline. #－.－)

Okay, I haven't read the novel in a couple months, since after they got revenge on God I kinda checked out since didn't see the point in the series continuing after that? I mean, what do you even DO after locking a deity inside an inescapable prison? (Answer: Apparently something involving dragons.)

Personally I find it a nice change from many other isekai themed stories. I also really like the idea about 'a messenger of the red star', would be nice to get more info on that, although I do not have high hopes on that.

It's been months since I read the novel, so I can't really remember much in the way of detail. It doesn't help that sometimes the manga shuffles events around, so even if I did remember, I can't get too specific. (￣∇￣")

It's very hard to remember much detail about WHEN Richard appears in the novel because he doesn't have anything to do with the plot (such as it is). He's not actually a FEATURE until after Charl meets all the capture targets, and then he's still more of an accessory because Charl is a super-overpowered cheat character who can (and does) do everything and only has companions for narrative purposes. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

What I DO remember is the two of them are officially together after meeting four, possibly five times, and it happens right after the capture targets are introduced (which is now). I THINK (but don't quote me on this) that Richard shows up after the dried fruit dilemma is settled, does the suffering ML thing where he has to improve himself before he can be with Charl (there were tears and me horrified thinking he was about to climb on top of a twelve-year-old), then more dungeon madness.

I THINK Charl and Richard are together officially after they finally conquer the dungeon, but I don't really remember; it could have happened before. It was a hot scene but I don't know where it happened in the timeline!! Their scenes are hot, but they blur together! ╥﹏╥

However, I DO remember up until the FL gets vengeance on the horrible god from her previous world, so I can answer some questions. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I am referring to Mira, the one who becomes Charl's adopted brother...which is another reason why he gives up. Mira does genuinely like her, though he never says a word about it, which is why he's putting on muscle...he can live with being Charl's brother, but "sister" is just too much. (≧∀≦)

I'm sorry, but at no point did I ever say otherwise. Allow me to give you some backstory: when this manga was first posted, several readers thought that it would be another harem story. There were dozens of harem manga released at the same time, so the misconception was that this story was the same. This mistaken belief continued even after Richard made his second appearance.

Note that over a year before this manga was ever posted here, I had a habit of reading random shoujo novels on syosetu. At the time, my preference was isekai novels with a villainous protagonist. One of the novels I read at this point was the novel this manga was adapted from. The novel made a REAL impression, because it was so steamy that there was never any question who the love interest was. In fact, introducing a secondary love interest would have caused severe tonal whiplash.

Which was why, when this manga became available here, I genuinely laughed at the belief that Charl would end up with anybody but Richard. And I reassured those readers who cared to know that this story WAS NOT a harem, and DID NOT include a love triangle, because the only person aside from Richard who ever had romantic feelings for Charl...never acted on those feelings.

At no point did I suggest that this was a negative thing. The only thing I have to say about this story is that, despite how steamy the novel was, the romance did not impact the plot at all. Richard, the undisputed male lead, was the equivalent of a recurring background character, and the "capture targets" from the game stopped being important after their arcs. This actually gave the novel a very episodic feeling, where the only two characters that appear in every single arc are Charl and her brother, Lucas, and obviously...they DO NOT have a romantic relationship. Lucas remains her guardian from start to finish.

Literally I was gonna use that exact same one as an example there are so many and you just happen to find the lame ones like how

I do read about strong heroines, but there's different kinds of strength (my favorites are scheming FLs, but I pick up the occasional fighter as well). I'm saying it's the first time I've read a k-novel where the FL doesn't have toothpicks for bones that break with the slightest pressure. For example: lightly kick the ML's shoe and fracture her toe, break every bone in her hand while holding husband's hand through a seizure, or hilariously, go blind after reading an erotica.

FLs in Korean novels are typically ridiculously weak, to contrast with the ML, who will walk away fine after being run over by a carriage. Even in novels where the FL is strong and competent, they either start off weak and build up physical strength (or obtain cheat abilities), or they start off strong and then suddenly find themselves handicapped for some reason (often pregnancy), thus limiting their ability to protect themselves. Because the ML ALWAYS has to be stronger than the FL, or else he can't save her from every physical challenge.

I just find it refreshing to have a character who would realistically not be physically strong, yet is somehow able to wield a regular sword as a weapon without any current-body experience, as well as carry an adult female in a princess carry at a normal speed without any sign of difficulty. Like, did the original Lestia work out? Because I would like an explanation.

So I hadn't read Untouchable Lady yet, so I started reading it, but...are you two SERIOUSLY recommending a novel with a magic-using FL when I was fangirling over an FL having actual muscles!? DO YOU KNOW HOW COMMON THAT IS??? You had a sliver of my interest initially, but now I'm just disappointed. Still waiting for this girl to lift...pretty much anything.

So you know, I have read about badass FLs such as you're describing in k-novels. If you looked at my reading list, you'd notice that.

Being told to take a chill pill is an abrasive type of advice. If you want an example of someone picking a fight there is an insult that I found out about on Reddit that was a person’s favorite insult: Spherical idiot. It was their favorite insult because it means no matter how you look at it that person is stupid. However another person in the comments said to call someone a sphere, take it back and say “you can’t be a sphere because there is no such thing as an ideal version of yourself out there.”

However, if you are someone who is always true to yourself, aren't you closer to your ideal self than anyone else in the world? I don't need someone else to tell me that I'm "not ideal," because if they're going to "insult" me to my face, then I don't have to care about their thoughts...because their ideal does not equal my ideal.

Anyway, out of curiosity, why are all you people eating popcorn and keeping this thread alive when there's literally nothing here? Just a person commenting on my state of mind when they neither know me, my thoughts, nor my feelings upon posting a comment regarding something that was actually pretty messed up about this manga...which, oddly enough, a lot of people do? At precisely which point did I claim you told me that I have nothing of value to say? (⊙…⊙ ) I only gave you an example of two methods of discussion. I will rephrase.

Suppose I make an observation in a comment, as before. One possible dialogue option is, "I hear you, but disagree." another is, "I hear you, and I agree." another is, "I hear you, but you don't need to say it." another is, "I hear you, but there are better ways to phrase it."

I will allow you to decide which option among these, or among many others that I did not write, is the closest to what you meant.

However, my point is, which one between "I disagree with you" and "You have nothing of value to say" sounds like an opening for discussion? I will say that I thought it funny to be told to "take a chill pill" after having read a bedtime story (this manga), left my impressions (this thread), and then immediately going to bed (while sadly shaking my head at the less-than-ideal adults who are still a marked improvement when compared to several other examples I can think of in manga, period). I fully expected not to receive any comments whatsoever, so waking up the next day to read your response was quite mystifying, as I'm sure you can imagine. However, what I took exception to was not your words themselves, but your assumptions regarding my state of mind. Frankly, you were in no position to judge.

It was a Reddit post nothing more nothing less. And it’s the fact that you guys were arguing over such a tiny problem that we were eating popcorn. It’s kind of like a “it’s finally not me” when there’s drama. Why else do people watch 90 Day Fiancé or Real House Wives? It’s because of the baseless drama and the people on screen have that you as a viewer don’t have at that moment.
I remember when I was little my older brother and sister were fighting about something and they started hurling insults at each other and my first thoughts were: “since it’s not me..” I just decided to sit on the kitchen counter and watch actually wishing I had popcorn to enjoy the show with.
And when it comes to the aunt and uncle I do agree it was pretty pathetic that they didn’t want him to inherit a factory that was slowly going out of business and chose not to adopt him for that reason. But I think it was strictly the uncle that said that. However, even I think the uncle could’ve gotten the land appraised and sold for inheritance money it later on depending on his pride if he didn’t want Akihiro to be as he said “pitiful” after all the way he put it he made it seem like the thing wasn’t his pride and joy until Aki and Kyle (Taiga) grew up. The aunt however I like more than the uncle because she was supportive of the fact that Taiga and Aki were gay and sadly the uncle was pretty oblivious til the very end.
