this was going so good for the first 40 ish chapters. the bond between the jack and mag? amazing. chemistry? amazing. then we get to the middle of the series and everyone just starts acting weird?? like they don’t have a brain? mag can’t make up her mind on whether or not she wants to continue her life as margaret or start a new life as mag. then when she follows jack up north just because everyone told her to, even though she had no plans to do so originally?? then on top of this she follows jack because she has feelings for him but then treats him like an asshole when he specifically told her that he had his on goals that he’s focusing on?? then completely acting like a dumbass and revealing her identity to everyone, then backtracking and saying she was a friend, THEN AGAIN about to reveal her identity to her parents, just to reaffirm the lie that their daughter burnt down the forest? i had to stop reading after that. we genuinely lost the plot. what’s even going on? mag was supposedly going to be on her healing era by staying in the south, and she improved the lives of many down there, but she isn’t strategic at all! how you got your own man telling you “good thing she isn’t so bright…" LOCK TF IN?? a shame because the chemistry between them was chef’s kiss.
also mentioned in the comments below but the character design was very inconsistent.. was i the only one who thought jack had red hair at first?(⊙…⊙ )
is anyone disappointed with how this series is going?
it was an enjoyable slice of life read starting from the beginning, but it starts to get extremely predictable and repetitive. sami’s always falling or running into things, with either pyojun or chan ALWAYS being there to save the damsel in distress each time. i mean it’s every, single, chapter.
once tabin is introduced, i lost all hope. he’s a borderline STALKER, which the story fails to even acknowledge that properly, and gets in the way of ANY progress sami can make between pyojun or chan.
also, wth is the point of adding a bl aspect to the two love interests just to turn it into a classic love triangle?? it feels like they were trying to bait a bl audience, then change the storyline completely.
i don’t know, maybe someone can convince me this gets better, but overall it’s quite disappointing.

this isn’t supposed to be miho & jinhwa and friends, right!? why the hell were the FRIENDS the main focus for a good majority of season one, just for it to have no connection for the second season, aka the ACTUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE MAIN COUPLE WE’RE READING FOR?? we barely got a happy moment between miho and jinhwa because most of the time they were solving everyone else’s problems?! the one time we actually got a moment between them is when they fell asleep and held hands together… that’s it. i could barely even tell by the end of this webtoon whether or not miho even LIKED jinhwa, because we barely even saw anything!! this had so much potential, i was really loving the storyline and the dynamic between the two, just for the story to focus on their annoying fuck ass friends. like dude, why the hell am i reading 5 chapters of the (second?) love interests (seohwa) brother AND MOM curse out jinhwa just because she went to see if he was okay??? my blood is actually boiling omfg
