what i wish people would understand is being able to explore these kinds of things in fiction. but that's exactly what it is: FICTION. if you read these kinda stories and genuinely want to act them out yourself/want it to happen to you or others, then you're fucked in the head and shouldn't consume any other kind of literature. vast majority of artists who draw gore DON'T want to see real-life gore. do you think the people who wrote hannibal want to secretly become cannibals? or cut off someone's leg and feed it to them?
being able to explore these kinds of things in a fictional setting and knowing it IS fictional and SHOULD NOT BE REALITY is important, it's a different story if these were characters based off of real life people, or seeing these fucked up acts and wanting them to become reality instead of being limited to fiction and staying there.

In the light novel (if my memory serves me right), Jiwook got into a situation and got injured, which led to him getting amnesia. The thing Jiwook did to Jooyeon was SAing him when they were kids after Jooyeon confessed his feelings. Jiwook also shared the video to Jooyeons mom, which caused her to become mentally unwell.
Did jiwook only forget juyeon cuz it seem like he remember the guy who hit him and people he beat in high school so he does remember some people from HS, why did he only forget juyeon?
i think it’s just for the plot yk? jiwook forgot EVERYTHING about jooyeon from when they were kids, but he seems to get “flashbacks” of kid jooyeon and remembers some other people. i think something he said in the novel was, “i don’t remember much that happened in high school besides getting into fights.”
