Oh wow, so I’m reading the novel and this is a bit of a slow burn but at some point in the novels, some things will connect better. So either you guys let this marinate or try reading the novel if it seems to be at a frustrating state right now.
This had so much potential but the sex just really fell flat I’m not one to police the sex (this is fantasy, I’m not a dum dum who thinks everything I read is a moral reflection of my virtues lol) — I couldn’t care less about the fact that it’s dub con but it just felt really forced rather than a natural escalation of things.

I can’t stop rereading this, they’re all just so fun, stupid (I say this with love), and animated. Especially love how MC and ML Have distinctive personalities, fun quirks + good chemistry which I think is what’s missing in some of the more recent titles. This was such a beautiful exploration of repression and revenge. I’m speaking from a distance, having read this last year and truthfully remembering the more smutty parts lol — but I wrote a comment last year about how I was so grateful for the experience and scrolled through the last chapter to jog that memory.
