This was really nice to read and I think it shows Hitomi’s strength at writing these over-analytical types. I am a pretty logical person as well (although not to this extent) and I know it’s a bit frustrating when I explain my side of things to someone more emotional than myself. I don’t underestimate the patience and grace needed to handle an overly logical partner. That said it was great to see that he wasn’t a completely one-note character. Aranami laughs often and has hobbies outside of his work. I’m so glad he’s not just an expressionless or judgmental person. It was really cute to see how naturally he fell into the relationship.
Respectfully what the fuck is this lmao. MC is spineless yet I’m supposed to believe he was at one point the king’s right hand? Yes I realize he was abused in the dungeons but crazy how his whole entire personality is just gone despite not remembering his own torture until chapter 3. I just don’t get the point of making the MC this high ranking knight just to do fuck all with it. He easily could have been a random recruit and the bald bastard could have been the King’s right hand. Same story would occur with the betrayal and everything. It’s so stupid just so the author can draw a poor skinny man get raped constantly.

Rare W of the lone wolf author not being a total jerk. Plus when he tries to initiate sex in the last chapter, he stops when Iori says so and then doesn’t just go right back into after they share their confessions.
