It's pretty cute, but I'm not too fond of Commander's slight arrogance.
Guess that's one of the things Alexei grew to like, though.
Also, while I understand his concerns of Alexei simply beig swept around or being someone who is seemingly too carefree, I think it's almost ridiculous how he didn't even want Alexei to meet with his family and friends until Alexei reasons with him - he's not even familiar with his family, and already he views them in a negative manner, with the whole "I own Alexei now" as his main reason.
Still, it's supposed to be a cute and sweet story, and Alexei is such a lovable and beautiful-looking character, plus I'm definitely thinking too much about that bit, being that it's supposed to be lighthearted, so it's just a slight dissatisfaction on my part, I suppose.

I couldn't help but cry a little when I read Ch. 29. After arriving in this world, he is immediately rejected and pushed off a ledge, then hurled insults at, and finally "disposed" of.
In such a painful, miserable way, too... the first thing he sees is the disappointment of his summoner, and the last thing he sees is the departing figure of his resuscitator after rejecting him thoroughly - all in a span of possibly 10 minutes or less. How helpless had he felt as they were discussing his fate? When he kneeled at the cold marble floor, awaiting his "disposal", what was he thinking? Was he resenting his resuscitator? Was he hating himself? Was he insulting his fate? It just... I had to stop reading for a bit after that moment, before Meltier did the explaining.

As someone who did play a gacha game, I immediately thought of the characters I don't use anymore or never used at all. I always thought of it as simply them taking a rest, somewhere out there, doing their own stuff until we call for them. At least they thrive even as "copies" of the original people. This "game" is so brutal and made me feel miserable. It makes me rethink a lot of things and made me do some reflecting. If I didn't have things to do, I would've lied down and pondered about it a bit more.

Due to how nice the art is and how intrigued I am of the story, I searched for spoilers and learned that the Author had deleted the web novel, but focuses on light novel. According to some people, light novel is up to Vol.5.
And I don't know whether I'll ever get access to that, so I really hope to continue reading this.

I know that the beginning of the story is kind of cliche, but I loved how she turned out. She strove hard to live in spite of everything, and grew into a stronger person.
I'm grateful that she has a companion in the sword, and I guess that boy's just the change she needs in her repetitive life, but man, for a while I just wanted him to get whacked for a bit. He arrogantly declares that he deserves the sword as if it isn't bad enough that he just barges in and demands for it.

As for the potential romance, as someone who had grown up reading different manga with stepsiblings/adopted relatives, I don't dislike it. I wouldn't go out of my way to seek it, but I wouldn't mind reading it. But please, let her not become a fool... although in some aspects she appears foolish, but at least let her not cling to their shadows anymore, in any capacity. If it will be, so be it, but for now...

I suppose if had been any other person, it wouldn't have the same impact as coming face to face with someone who has your ex-fiancee's face, proof that he had married after you were sent away, proof that indeed, you were considered a terrible stain in their lives, proof that with you out of the picture, they could finally be happy together.

I've seen a few pairings of girlish boys and boyish girls. But I definitely didn't see who was who in here!!
It's like Ai Ore all over again for me!
I'm not super fond of its short format, but I really love the artstyle and the pairing.

Man I got confused with who liked who and how.
Until now I'm still confused.
I understand that Woojin was only ever interested in Kyung, although he shares such a close friendship with Inseob(?) that it could be mistaken for interest, such as in Kyung's interpretation.
He said as much, and I could kinda see it throughout his thoughts and actions.

With Kyung, he never deliberately said anything like liking Woojin, but his reactions upon their reunion and afterwards sort of paint a picture of where his heart lies.
Thus, he confuses me. I know he liked Inseob throughout highschool.

-Did he still like Inseob during college?
-What about during his reunion with Woojin?
-When did he actually start getting interested in Woojin?
-At what point did his feelings for Woojin eclipse his feelings for Inseob?
-Actually, does he really like Woojin or does he feel like it's simply an inevitable conclusion and he doesn't hate it? He looks, seems, and talks like he likes him, even his thoughts and actions seem to express it, but
I feel like I got a couple of things wrong. I feel like my reading comprehension for this story is in shambles.

I'm also confused about this honestly

As far as I can tell, both of them from the start were into each other. Woojin liked Inseob as a friend, a comfortable companion, he just genuinely liked the beta's company but since the start he found Kyung cuter.
And Kyung's type was at the start Inseob but it's shown that despite thinking that, his attention got caught in Woojin. And even if there were feelings for Inseob (which I doubt) by the end, at the time of graduation, they both were definitely attracted to each other.

It was a fun, cute read. Wish there was more chapters - but it's simply a oneshot. Well, it's probably better this way, than to see the story being dragged on and end with nothing changing because "Everyday life is awesome and nothing else needs to change".

Maybe they were going for a realistic, "honest, somewhat selfish, younger lady" so as to reflect what those middle school kids might've been thinking, and I understand that there are many siblings in manga (younger and older) who act like this (I remember an older sister randomly kicking her brother on the hips so she could finally use the mirror (drop kick, I think...)) but it was a little tiring to read pages with the cousin on it. Especially the chapter that heavily featured her - I get her envy, and I get that she's finally being honest, and I understand that there are just people who throw around the word "I hate you" like it's something random, but to wish for her cousin to just continue being miserable is just lingering spite at that point. He was already miserable in middle school, and just when he's finally moving forward, she felt so upset and wanted him to stay in that muddy swamp longer, like her, who couldn't move forward. At least when she got it out of her chest she became more pleasant - attending his concert, listening a little better, not being one of those annoying people who just had to get in the way out of spite (she did seem to keep their relationship a secret from the rest of her family, after all... so it's up to Nari to reveal it or not) - I could imagine the truly hateful ones trying to really drag down others due to envy, than just hitting them with words - plus she seemed instrumental to their reunion at least.

He didn't actually need to go as far as to confine him - even with his insecurities and without knowing Eito's feelings, he could've made it go the way he wanted.
If he turned Eito into an Omega, he could pretend to be shocked that the results have changed, helped him, made him dependent only on him, thus securing his heart with less effort, and in a similarly twisted way. But considering what he said before Eito fainted, there must be a deeper reason why he decided to go do the confinement route even if it'll possibly erase Eito's good feelings towards him, right? Maybe it's the fact that at his core, Eito's a good person with an unfortunate background, and he can't let anyone know that, or maybe it's his simple desire to isolate and possess him completely. Maybe it's got something to do with his desperation against his fated pair, and now he's in a hurry? It doesn't excuse him, I get it, but I want to look deeper onto his motives when he could've taken a simpler, easier way. Then there's also the two shady accomplices - the delivery boy and doctor both. They definitely know something. I wonder, since the delivery boy appears angry and reluctant, would he try to save Eito? Might Eito end up with him instead? I'm really anticipating the next part of this story.
