Last few panels, ML is giving serious Hisoka vibes
Do ya'll see it too? The lean, the hair, the tongue, the lusting over an MC who was definitely created less than 18 years ago

I'll eat my hat if Yu-seong doesn’t immediately pick up the fact Ji-hwan is lying.
They’ve been together too long for this type of misunderstanding to work.
If Yu-seong were to leave, my guess is that it would be because he understands that Ji-hwan was likely trying to protect him, and to prevent himself from being used as leverage, he’ll need to return to his family home for a bit.

Site's still working okay for me. I'm on my laptop, using Firefox. Are the people having issues using their phones, or on a specific browser?

Kinda had hoped the ML would be the first dullahan... (ļæ£āˆ‡ļæ£")
IDK, he seems like a real cutie patootie.

If they had found his head early on in the narrative, and that somehow led him to become somewhat human again, he might have had a shot. But since there are plans to stick all the dullahans in a subspace box, that pretty much squashes any hopes of him being even considered a love interest.

I mostly just pick a genre and search the most recent updates. If the art is good, has a good star rating (low percent of 1 stars), and there isn’t too many people complaining in the comments, I’ll give it a shot. For older series, I pick a series I like and look at lists that include it. Also sometimes look at the comments on the homepage, sin......

I’ve read a couple of stories where the author tries to have the MC be both a regressor + someone who read the story in a past life, and it always seems like a case of the author wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Like they want the emotional satisfaction of having the original character get their revenge/happy ending, but the plot conven......
tashi created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

I'm tempted to think MC’s father was already an undead when Guwon came across them. We’ve seen before that the only time he immediately attacks something is when they’re an undead. With living people, he seems to spend a bit of time scoping out if they’re useful and worth keeping alive. This would explain why he’s so adamant about not having killed MC’s father, and stating that he hadn’t lied, but also hadn’t told the full story.

Another thing, because Guwon is fairly indifferent to killing, is incredibly strong, intimidating, and gets along well with the Hounds ( a trigger-happy group), I think a lot of characters wrongly assume he is a lot more violent than he actually is. He seems like a utilitarian. In a post-apocalyptic world, where those who are not useful are either deadweight or pose a threat to stabbing you in the back later on, only keeping ā€œusefulā€ people alive might seem rational. Overall, he hasn’t been shown to be all that eager to kill people. He spent time looking for a reason to keep MC alive when they first met, described killing the vet’s family as a shame, and gave in when the vet said the girl was needed as an assistant. Compared to the Hounds, who seem to be itching for a reason to kill people, it seems like a mildly bothersome chore for Guwon.

Any recs with a dangerous ML who actually just needs a hug? Examples are like ā€œDear, 00ā€, ā€œRegasā€, and ā€œThe Blood Of Madam Giselleā€. I’m a real sucker for these types of hurt/comfort stories.

tashi answered question about question
I’m having petty beef with ā€œCreating a hidden endingā€, because they got the ML choosing to exclusively fight monsters in a black 3-piece suit, wearing brown oxfords, dual-wielding two long swords (Ssangsudos?). This is such an insane combination of things, it broke my brain.

Lowkey, this is an interesting exploration of the concept of gender dysphoria, but with secondary genders.
Also, a lot omegaverse romance will have the couple proclaim they'd still love each other the same, even if they weren’t an Alpha/omega (only time actually believed that was with an omega x omega couple). But this is often framed as being the purest form of love. I think for straight cis women, because it feels so common to be reduced from being a whole person down to just a pair of tits and vagina, being told you’re loved regardless of your gender sounds incredibly romantic. Ex: ā€œwould you love me if I was a worm?ā€ lol. But I think for a lot of queer relationships, our gender being part of the equation, doesn’t carry that same negative connotation.

In Canada, most pads come in a plastic wrapper. I think most people here roll up the old pad, wrap it in the wrapper and then toss it in the bin. Our disposable pads are generally made from synthetic materials and absorbent gels, so I don’t think they can be washed. If you’re really worried about getting rid of the blood/menstrual fluid, I rec......
tashi created a topic of New World Order

Just throwing my two cents in on Seong Su health predicament, but my main guess is that it’s a chronic side effect of some drug that the cult is abusing, which had been propped up as some miracle cure. If the pharmaceutical company noticed one of their products is being bought up at suspicious levels on a tiny island, they’d probably want to check that out. Cults abusing drugs is fairly textbook, and numerous medications can damage the immune system when done without a doctor’s guidance. Either the drug was being used as a catchall, or more specifically, being used to treat ā€œdegeneracyā€.
Alternatively, Seong Su could be dealing with chronic symptoms of an STI, transmitted from the rapist pastor. Given the time period, the particular fear of penetration, and his weak immune system, I immediately thought of HIV. But I doubt the syringes are for treatment, since antiretrovirals are given orally, and it doesn't make thematic sense to include that in the flashback. Instead, the syringes could have contained a sedative, ei date-rape drugs.

We got a Fantasy tag, but not a Psychological tag. Unless there's been a tagging error, maybe whatever's going on with Ho-su can't be explained by the DSM-5 (ā•ą²°_•)

Kinda wish more of the action was shown, rather than being told through the screen text ļ¼ˆļ¼ļ¼ļ¼›). IDK, some of the fight scenes feel more like montages. Like some of the in-between actions/panels have been cut out to save on drawing time, resulting in the whole sequence feeling choppy. Not trying to hate, to be clear. It's just kind of a shame...

This is a real shot in the dark, but I wonder if Seong Su’s kids aren’t actually his biological kids. Like if someone high ranking in the cult had a secret kid, and Seong Su’s Father, wanting to curry favour, offered to have Seong Su take responsibility. It’s then possible that the biological parent later wanted to take back their son, but had to go about it in a convoluted way in order to maintain face. Maybe convince the cult/community Seong Su was an unfit father, and together orchestrated a fake death to cut Seong Su out.

The fact that Seong Su is so tight-lipped about the mother(s) and seems to have always been the sole legal guardian, I’m guessing the mother(s) don’t want to be associated with the kids/wanted their identities kept secret. Seong Su might not even know who they are.

A lot of Hu-so’s behaviours look like symptoms of mania rather than DID.
-Elevated mood (bubbly mode)
-Increased risky behaviour (inviting a stranger to live at his house, and offering his credit card)
-Impulsive behaviour (suggesting to drop out of school)
-Rapid-fire communication (his flood of texting/calls)
-Increased energy (his stamina…)
-Hypersexualty
-High irritability (current mode)
-Mixed states, where feelings of intense stress can manifest as anxiety or panic

Y'all, if after 10 years of yearning, your bride immediately tries to set you up with another woman, and then is seemingly only intimate with you out of a sense of duty, and then goes on to talk about how they aren’t competent enough and again suggests finding another bride, I’d also be crashing out.
