She has had the power to cripple Hime during any of their face to face encounters, and the personnel backing to make that witch disappear
The main villain should’ve been defeated by now. Secondary villain arcs, political intrigue, and post-war rebuilding (in addition to romance between our lovely main couple) could all still be explored while Hime rots in a cell somewhere
All that said, I only have so many complaints because I like this story enough to care lol

To whomever it may concern, this is super not shounen ai. This is yaoi. It has two very cute couples with their own fairly cute stories, but this is most assuredly yaoi.
Luckily for me, I’m kind of a degen, so I don’t really care about the switcheroo

gahhh someone told me that shounen ai can have explicit sex scenes TT i'll never understand the difference between these two.. and goes the same with between shoujo ai and yuri.
It’s true that it’d be a lot easier if they were all under one label, eg BL or GL, and then tagged with smut if they were sexy BLs and GLs, but I don’t have the power to overthrow a decades old manga classifications all on my own! LOL ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Usually shounen ai may insinuate that the couple had sex without actually showing the scenes and just a hint of it at most while yaoi is full on boom boom
