"That boy's a soothsayer"
People should listen to the MC more often. But then- not listening is such a huge BL/ any romance ever trope that nothing would progress forward otherwise lmao.
And, idk, I'm just really enjoying the dynamic between the MC and Toujo. Out of all of the characters so far, Toujo just seems vaguely interested enough in the MC to realize what's up. I can see that being a plot point in the future. And, there's also something inherently funny about seeing the MC going back and forth in action between keeping his brother protected and being resigned to inevitable plot development and finally just landing on, Toujo will probably be an important and influential figure in the future due to his character type, so I might as well kiss up to him now and set up flags for them.

In other words, it's hard to enjoy the story in the moment, because we as the readers know that he's a noble, and therefore, we can conjecture all the trope repercussions in consequence to that. We know that despite how happy she is, that in spite of how heartening it is watch as such a lonely person finally finds love and companionship, that it's all just a fantasy that will come crashing down any chapter now.
He's going to leave. She's going to be hurt again.
If he takes her with him, we're going to have to watch her be looked down on again.
I think it all would have been a little less melancholic had he been upfront once he realized how much she liked him. Let her at the very least be mentally prepared on the knowledge that he could leave at any moment.
But I suppose that's the drama of the story, two people from different worlds, meet and indulge in a soft love story, only to have the world crash back down on them.

I'm thinking the problem might be that he thinks she knows what he is. At the beginning, when he tried to pay her, his attitude suggested that he assumed she should recognize him, so I'm thinking he might be under the impression that she knows he's a noble and is behaving this way even despite that. Considering the pharmacist recognized him as a noble just from his face and hair color (and he is the only blond person we've seen so far), it might not be so far fetched that he expects her to know.

I swear this story's chapter 30 is another story's chapter 80. The pacing is so quick. One moment five warriors show up on her doorstep, the next she's in heat, they're in a town, they're back at home, she stabs some more people, there's a basilisk, poison, super Saiyan upgrades. She gets shot by an arrow, there's a Princess, there's a Guild master, a red herring, red headed mercenary, then, there's ghouls, she has resurrection potions, existential magic apparently is a thing and no one remembers the warriors, weapons, and finally, now they're going to attend school. And, it's only chapter 30. Color me impressed lol.

I'm just waiting for the day that one of his friends decide to come out as a couple to him thinking he would be shocked, and he just responds with the most Saitama like face, "Ah, yeah, I knew."

Likely, lmao. Then the chapter will be about the trope of, avoiding knowing too much otherwise people will think you swing that way. In the background, you will have a character answer as they did in my post, and then that character's two friends will suddenly try and set him up with another mysterious friend they know. +10 points if the mysterious friend has a feminine sounding name ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I like her well enough, but I hope the focal point stays centered on him and his acting.
(also, just, I was enjoying that this was a time travel-esque story where the adult in a child/teenager's body wasn't being weird (and/or creepy) around other kids/teenagers. So I hope they don't force it too much.)
