imo it was def a power move....bc usually incheol would be the one wearing the condom right (bc he expected to top), so it's almost like going "here, here's what u wanted." it's also pyeonghwa reminding incheol they have a condom on hand, but he's still choosing to enter him raw, and there's nothing incheol can do about it. humiliation and power dynamics go crazy the author does such a good job of showing things with absolutely no dialogue

Shocking how ppl expected this to go any other way and are clatching their pearls by how messed up and problematic their first sexual encounter was, when we've been spoon-fed the foreshadowing of the behaviours of each character and should know exactly how it was gonna go down. It's understandable to feel bad reading it, but convincing yourself that it would be a healthy fuck when you've read the rest of the story so far is beyond ridiculous. Just read another story if you'll keep crying abt how there was no prep or consent and that it's a "bad story" bc of it. The characters are fucked up and have morally questionable motivations and even criminal activities in their roster.

Finally a comment from ppl w common sense. I swear some people on this site cant read manhwas like this for shit, the first episode was already gritty and then they complain about how terrible the characters actions are??? Its like they cant handle their uke and semes making bad decisions and facing the consequences of it.
Also they should read the tags ffs.
Istg when manhwas get realistic like this, they start to hiss and scramble. If u cant handle it then dont read it!

People have the right to be upset at a rape scene, especially at one so uncomfortable like this. I usually don't care about this stuff but this chapter is heavy. U can see it as bitching and whining all you want but the majority of readers definitely didn't expect a chapter like that so yeah of course they got something to say about it lol

In what universe of even mediocre reading comprehension would you not see this coming, when it's been spelled out for us since the very beginning? Again, noone os blaming readers for feeling uncomfortable, the problem is using said discomfort to criticize it - the story/author/audience who appreciate it without writing a thesis on why it's a horrible act - as "bad" or as "condoning rape culture" , when it's simply an incident completely IN CHARACTER. The characters, if you haven't noticed, have been doing fucking terrible things throughout the story.

I would never say that being uncomfortable with depictions of sexual assault is bitching and whining. but these people do not love each other they are actively trying to exploit each other. If majority of readers didn’t expect something like this, I don’t know what to say… it’s a story about how dark politics can get in a representative democracy. the ones that have power are the ones best at manipulating people.
