Feels like the people who are calling this current arc a “drag” after coming this far 179 chapters have truly never appreciated this manga as it is. It’s a beautiful story about connection and this arc that goes on about reconnecting and building bridges is a drag? Sounds like “fans” who can’t see what’s beyond the surface. Really shows ppl really can’t read/enjoy things unless things are always fast paced seeing some of these immature comments.
Idk i really cant get myself to like the sky heaven cult leader. His low iq is too annoying he really cant think for himself?
I think that is his charm. His impulsiveness, his naivety, his ignorance. He's not smart, but isn't stupid. And he's greedy and overly cautious all at the same time. All of these things you can work with if you have the right tools to mold him. He has the strength and the experience to back himself up, he just lacks forethought and courage... most likely due to insecurity and depression. He's lived his life in surplus and all of that has lead him to nothing, which the advisor had pointed out a few chapters ago telling him to give all of his divine relics away he has no need of them. (The advisor included if you think of the advisor as a "relic".) So what the advisor and the 2nd young master are trying to tell him or at least for him to realize is that he has worth he just needs to let go of some things to see it. Bc he can sit dignified and proud on his throne but ultimately he chose the chains to shackle himself with. They are literally just telling him to use the key to unlock the chains.
True! I don't like him either also advisor going all out for him is annoying itself wish they just drop him but I guess that won't happen
Recommending people to read the first 1-3 chapters after reading chapter 124 and seeing things from both povs basically which is interesting in its own writing. Fuck caesar. My girl ruby deserves peace and happiness.

I do enjoy this (read up to 119 ch of official trans) but something I really wish we got more in this were seeing her actual trainings and the development of her powers. I KNOW she’s considered a genius and she is one but seeing the training process in these type of stories is interesting imo so seeing one panel of her going to training and next panel shes just done is a little disappointing (a little boring too) even if she is a genius and soaks up everything.
